Topic | How many stars would you give Netflix's Fear Street Trilogy? |
looked 07/22/21 9:50:56 AM #11 | 1994: Was a weak entry. I wanted to watch this because of the time period, but it didnt feel authentic at all. Probably shouldve just been 2021. I didnt care for any of the characters. Its pretty forgettable. Im not even sure why I kept watching after this. Ill give a 2. 1978: Was much better. Its a campy slasher film that was probably inspired by Friday the 13th. Time period was more believable, I connected with the characters more, I didnt think the surprise twist worked, but still a Solid film, Ill give it a 4. 1666: The first half was on par with the last movie. The time period felt right. The returning actors did a better job fitting in here, than in 1994 IMO. The only problem is that its too short, and the second half of the movie is a continuation of the one that I didnt like so Ill give it a 3. Overall the biggest problem to me is that the timeline that I like the least is the main timeline. |
Topic | Bill Burr savages CNN as 'un-American pieces of shit' who want Trump for ratings |
looked 07/18/21 12:16:34 AM #43 | I listen to Bills podcast regularly, and he always mentions CNN and Fox News in the same breath. I went back and checked this one, and yep, he said theyre (cnn) treasonous un American pieces of shit, just like Fox News, msnbc just like all of them. Funny how the article left out that part of the quote. |

Topic | "Cart Narcs" are among the lowest form of humans. |
looked 06/05/21 8:08:37 PM #100 | Cocytus posted... I can't believe you guys have such a big opinion on this. It's not his job. And not putting it up creates jobs. Medelers man. It doesnt create jobs. Stores budget their hours based on sales, so if there are no carts they will still be working, they will just be doing something else. It does make someones job more difficult though. So if you worried about creating jobs buy more in the store, it put your cart back when you are done. |
Topic | Do you side with Naomi Osaka in her dispute with the french open? |
looked 05/31/21 9:54:36 AM #37 | This is something that the media cares about more the fans. They will make a big deal out of it, and probably write articles trashing her as a person. They will also target her more, because every reporter wants to be the one to get a soundbyte out of her. Thats how it was with Ricky Williams and Marshawn Lynch. I doubt fans care much about hearing canned responses anyway. |

Topic | EVERY single one of us knows the ff7 spoiler right |
looked 05/02/21 9:47:51 AM #22 | The real question should be how many people got to experience it for themselves vs How Many people had it spoiled for them Despite its popularity, not everyone has played FF7. So If everyone already knows a major spoiler from a game that they havent even played, that is a problem, and its something I think is worth trying to change. The spoilers that everyone knows are the most talked about because they are some of the best and most impact moments ever. So its incredibly selfish to go around and casually ruin them for other people, Just because you dont want to click a little box before typing it. |
Topic | Florida senate passes "anti-riot" bill. |
looked 04/15/21 11:04:55 PM #17 | Guide posted... "You can kill people with your car" That isnt what the article says Burgess noted the bill wouldnt prevent criminal charges and the provision would only apply to people defending themselves from protesters, not those deliberately targeting them. Fields was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison in 2019. |
