I like some of his work. He's good when he's picking apart a genuinely bad movie or when he's even-handed. He's bad or even unbearable when he's being snobbish or fishing for things to nitpick.

He did a review of Jurassic Park and treated it like it was Congo or Independence Day. It's one thing for him to not like a popular movie. It's another for him to try and pretend that a universally loved fantasy-adventure from one of the most respected directors of all time is a shoddy popcorn movie.

I'm half-bored watching E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. I'm not going to pretend it's an objectively bad movie just because it doesn't speak to me personally.

It wasn't, though. I'll be willing to admit that Jay League was a noticably small bit worse than BvS.

But it was such a small bit that it made no difference.

A lot of people knock GTA4 because compared to SA the world was very grounded and barebones, with less minigames and less toys to play with. Also the too-realistic driving controls and super-needy friends.

I loved the game at the time of release, I was blown away by the generational upgrade and the more realistic feel was right up my alley. The physics engine alone provided me with hours of entertainment and made it very difficult to enjoy the PS2 era games upon revisiting them.

SA? the game with the giant map with nothing unique to do in it? It's still the biggest rockstar game, and completely unneccesarily so and only possible because they recycled the games assets all over the place. No, no and no

pretty much.

The game was barebones which led to alot of repetitive missions doing the same thing over and over not to mention nothing to do in free roam, longer than most gtas despite having the most boring and slow story.
