The reason everyone recommends stopping at season 5 is because the creator and head writer Eric Kripke intended for it to end at 5, but due to popularity it was extended. The new head writer Sera Gamble decided to focus more on the emotional problems of the two brothers, which I gave a season or two but that was never the reason I enjoyed the show and couldnt force myself to keep going.

If any employee's personal views become public, or if that employee interacts with people differently because of his personal views, then its just a smart business move to distance yourself from that person. Continuing to employ a known racist would be a bad pr move for most companies.

Also the camo index was a hassle, super cool concept and I loved the octo camo from mgs4, but in 3 it was tedious af having to swap camos constantly in the menu

  1. Your first point indicates anything not making you money is a waste of time, which directly contradicts your encouragement to play sports
  2. you're more likely to injure yourself with sports which negates the health benefits. Theres plenty of ways to exercise that dont involve a high risk of injury for people our age (I assume most people here are 30+), and it only takes an hour or two of free time to do it.
  3. Staring at screens is unavoidable for most of us. If Im going to hurt my eyes Id rather it be on an enjoyable activity. Plus, glasses, contacts and lasik exist so those effects are pretty minimal.
the rest isnt worth replying to.

MGS series is decent about this. Enemy hp and stamina does get buffed but the real difficulty comes from their increased awareness. Guards can see further and are more alert to sound, and bosses often have moves and tactics they don't use on easier modes.

I have an old Alienware, when it was new it was pretty great, Skyrim with mods for days on ultra settings was a ton of fun. As you said, it runs VERY hot and isnt comfortable to be close to while playing. I would primarily use it as a desktop with a external mouse, keyboard and monitor since the heat made gaming a nuisance. After awhile, the parts become outdated, the performance slows and upgrades become necessary, but being a laptop upgrading is often more trouble than its worth. I would say it was a bad match for me since I pretty much never take it out of the house, but if you will be frequently gaming away from your home then it might be better for you. Keep in mind its heavy, much more so than an ordinary laptop, so lugging it around can be burdensome at times, and if you are just using it for an hour here and there I wouldnt bother. Good for going to a friends house and having a gaming session, but not ideal for school where youll probably be moving to another location frequently throughout the day.

overall a desktop is the better choice imo

Surprised it needs to be said in this day and age, but how you dress is not an invitation for aggressive behavior. Lets put the responsibility on the aggressors instead of the victims. This is the same argument people use when a woman is raped. She invited the attention by dressing that way is a horrible mentality that only perpetuates more victim blaming, and it wouldnt surprise me if the bullies who use this train of thought grow up to continue to use it to justify more terrible things.

I usually just wait for a game to be ~20 USD. Even good games will reach that range eventually. Got Horizon Zero Dawn with all DLC for 15, Spiderman with all DLC for 15, Witcher 3 with all DLC for 15, and a many others. That's not even mentioning all the free games that come around. I'm on PS and the free monthly games have included some worthwhile gems in the past. Some of my most played games were free tbh.

If you can fight the FOMO then you can save a lot of money just by waiting. Paying full price is a choice. Nothing wrong with it though, if its a franchise you really love then I'm sure its worth it to buy day one to avoid spoilers and support the game.

Are you making a point for the importance of parenthesis? I get what you're saying, if you answered 4 in the other topic your answer here should be x^2. That is probably not the intended answer, but without parenthesis it is very unclear. Following PEMDAS you would resolve the multiplication before the division, so the answer is 1. Again, could be much more understandable with parenthesis.
