On a more positive note, Im in the market to upgrade Dandys model. Finding a good rigger is easy enough, but finding someone who can do a good male model is trickier, so if anyone knows of anyone with commissions open, Id appreciate it!

From what I understand, a group of doxxers has been harassing the Vshojo girls and impersonating the company, contacting applicants pretending theyve been successful. Vshojo have been working with the police in trying to catch the group and were advised not to make anything public to avoid tipping off the doxxers or encouraging retaliation.

Nux, who knew about the situation did his own digging and found the identity of one of the doxxers and made a video about it. Before he did, he spoke to Vshojo and both the company and several of the girls directly affected asked him not to go public with the video. He then tried to agree some terms and conditions for publishing it, Vshojo still declined, so he published the video anyway.

Vshojo initially thanked him for his efforts, though it was seemingly reactionary as they then deleted the tweet and released a more comprehensive explanation of their cyber security efforts. Every Vshojo girl came out publicly chastising Nux for releasing the video as it put them in danger and he was putting clout chasing above his friends and cut ties with him. Nux then claimed he hadnt been told not to publish it (even though he said he had been asked not to in the video itself) and eventually privated the video.

Opinion seems split between people defending Nux and saying Vshojo should have told applicants that there was a risk of being contacted by an impersonator and people defending Vshojo keeping quiet and following advice from the police as now catching the rest of the group will be even harder.

I think watching Kiara being genuinely terrified of Outlast with a 120+ BPM heart rate while Gura just quietly laughs at her is a top contender for best Vtuber Halloween stream so far and I'm only 30 minutes in.

Yeah, I sorta agree. I like the first two groups, but I havent really had time to develop a strong interest in any of them individually outside of Selen. They risk spreading their audience too thin as well. I already cant watch as much as Id like and its going to hurt the less popular members in the end.

Beginning to understand why Nijisanji have so many graduations now.

Yeah, hope Zen feels better soon. She tweeted about receiving some bad news that had ruined the rest of her year and then some stuff about how she felt left out of collabs, so clearly wasn't in the best headspace the last few days. Here's hoping she can take a good, long rest before coming back.

Some good news though, confirmation that the Vshojo+Snuffy group are going to be starting a new D&D campaign in the World of Io!

I felt bad for Swery when I saw the newest trailer for A Good Life got downvoted a bunch because its being published by PLAYISM. Hopefully doesnt affect sales too much, although technically the game already paid for itself.

Travel to JP from EU isn't all that bad anymore, there's quarantine measures yes, but as far as business trip costs it's pretty reasonable.
If the US contingent can also travel, then any major event that would take place in Japan would more than makeup any expense. At this point it's pretty safe to say Mori could sellout a few large venues if she held a concert.

Japan's in a state of emergency until at least the end of September. Re-entry for residents is permitted with special circumstances, but otherwise travel from America, Canada and Austria is outright denied if they've been in the country for more than 14 days, except in exceptional circumstances. I guess Ina might be alright (she's in South Korea, right?).

It's an interesting new spin on the old problem and I can understand just 'noping' the whole thing instead of getting into an argument about the specifics. Though, banning Vtuber talk altogether is a bit overkill.

Kronii definitely had the best specs (model, rigging and voice), but came off as a little less charismatic than the first two. But these debuts are never a good indicator for these types of things, what with the combination of nerves and rehearsing.

Good Smile normally dont limit preorders, except for special ones, I think. They even issued an apology about having to do it, but production issues worldwide mean that they couldnt allow open preorders. I guess they were worried more people would order Gura than they could realistically produce in time?

Just finishing playing, not bad! Nothing amazingly special, but considering it's free, it's great. I get the feeling we might get at least one more DLC too, as Mirror says that the new shrink mechanism only works in the first level 'for now'.

Also, the animations are so great in this game. This was true of the base game too, but what made me appreciate them again today is that one of the new Pokes, Drilbur, has an animation where it puts its claws above its head to make its whole body drill-shaped before burrowing into the ground. The Pokedex even says it does this, but I don't think I've ever seen it do it in the mainline games.

I think the only bit I had to look up was when I was getting all the info for the achievements, because I couldn't figure one out - the one where you have to talk to the same guy multiple times across the day.

Oh, and I had to watch a video to see the technique for getting on the Sun Station the difficult way.

See, I love Outer Wilds, it was my GOTY for 2019. But I finished and got all the achievements and it's no longer on Games Pass, so I'd have to buy it and this DLC, just to play the DLC.

Which I might do...think I need to see how much the DLC adds.

Sounds like its stress plus an issue with her throat meaning she cant stream as much as she wants. She may also have to change her voice slightly to something that causes less of a strain once its better.

Lot of peeps with throat problems right now. The price of doing a cute anime voice so much, I guess.

I will say, as someone who went from PS4/Xbox One straight to PS5/Series X, skipping over the Pro/X versions, it is nice playing last gen games on the new consoles, especially when they have enhanced versions. Those load times on RDR2, unf.

Only downside is that I stream so much, I never get to enjoy them in 4K, but I appreciate that's very much a rod I've made for my own back.
