Snakes are overrated. All you really have to do to render them helpless is grab them right behind their head so they can't bite you.

An eagle would also be doable if you manage to grab it and get it on the ground since you can probably snap its hollow bones like twigs.

Iron Man 3 is straight-up the only MCU movie you can skip in its entirety without missing something of value. NOTHING that happened in it has any bearing on the rest of the MCU at all.

In most cases, it's not so much a hospital as it is a missile launch site or an ammo storage facility that people may occasionally receive some medical treatment in to keep up the charade.

I think this is a little inaccurate. Only one of them actually has spoken of wanting to wipe out all the others, and that's Hamas, their charter talks about killing all of the Jews. Their leaders have called for Muslims to kill all the Jews. Yes officially they walked that back but they have put that rhetoric out there.

It's as I said before. They realize the only way they can have a shot at destroying Israel is by painting Israel in a bad light so Israel's allies will abandon them or turn against them. So they'll keep poking the bear while playing the victim and hoping America stops supporting Israel.

They're slowly doing it. They want to do the same thing we Americans did to indigenous peoples here. They want the land, and they don't want the people. Whether they do that through specifically killing everyone or evictions, reservations, deportation etc is secondary.

Many people want to do bad things to them, but it's hard to separate that from the bad things that they do. But again, the key is that they are the ones actually doing the bad things and that's what generates the continuing hatred.

See, the thing is: all of this could be solved if the surrounding Arab countries would just say "y'know what Israel, we'll take all the Palestinians off your hands and you can have the land". That way, the Palestinians can live in peace with their Muslim brothers and Israel won't be bothered any more.

Except the Arabs don't give a fuck about the Palestinians. What this is all about is who controls Jerusalem. The Arabs don't want the Jews to have control over "their" holy city.

But since the Arabs can't beat Israel through military means, they're now trying to win in a war of public opinion. They try to paint Israel in a bad light so Israel's allies will abandon them, because if America stops supporting Israel, the Arabs might just have a shot at beating them. So they fund organisations like Hamas to keep launching attacks at Israel and use civilians and infrastructure as human shields so Israel will retaliate and look like the bad guys.

So imagine being Israel, with a hostile force within your borders launching missiles at and knifing your civilians at every turn. There's also a horde of enemies just outside your borders, waiting for your allies to turn their back on you for defending yourself so they can finally achieve their goal of destroying you and retaking their holy city. What are you supposed to do in that situation?

That's because they are. People are gonna be mad when you retaliate disproportionately and kill civilians when they retaliate for you colonizing them and killing civilians. Hamas is bad because they kill Israeli civilians and use Palestinians civilians as shields. The general principle is that killing civilians is bad and Israel does by far the most of it.

Hamas is sustained by the idea that Israel wants to destroy Arabs and Palestinians and take their lands. The Israeli mainstream to right wing is sustained by the idea that Palestinians and Arabs want to do that to them. But only one is actually doing it, even if they both want to and that's what sparks the cycle.

If Israel truly wanted to exterminate the Palestinians, don't you think they would've done that at some point in the last 75 years?

And the Arabs definitely want to exterminate Israel. All the surrounding Arab countries have gone to war against Israel multiple times in the past. But Israel whooped their asses every time. The Arabs would do it in a heartbeat if they could, but they're just not capable of doing it.

The main demographic was probably comic book readers, yeah.

You really think Palestinians would tolerate Jews in their country? Just look at how other Muslim countries treat Jews, if there even ARE any Jews left in those countries.

Neither side is particularly worthy of support, but Israel is by far the lesser evil IMO.

It was the most drawn out origins story in the history of film with a conclusion that we still dont really know what Quill's powers are. He can handle one of the stones but that does not protect him from the Thanos snap seems odd.

Uh, I think you need to re-watch it. His dad was the source of his powers, and he lost them when he killed his dad.

Electric has literally one weakness (Ground) and resists Electric, Steel and Flying.

As a single type, it is tied with Normal for the fewest weaknesses.

It's also immune to paralysis, the most crippling ailment in Gen II.

Resists to Steel and Flying are pretty worthless though. Especially in Gen 2. And Earthquake is everywhere.

And Electric wasn't immune to paralysis at all back then. Just to paralysis coming from Electric-type moves. Body Slam, Lick, Stun Spore, Dragon Breath, Glare and Tri Attack can still paralyze an Electric-type in Gen 2.

Ampharos can basically solo Gold/Silver fyi

-Evolves earlier than basically any other viable Pokemon (Lv 30)
-Unusually bulky for an electric type, which is one of the most defensive types in the game
-Very high SpA for a Pokemon you can obtain in a starting area
-Completely shuts down Whitney's Miltank with Thunder Wave
-Can learn Fire Punch, which is Special in Gen II

Electric is definitely NOT one of the most defensive types in the game.

And Typhlosion is stronger and faster than Ampharos and can learn Thunder Punch, so Ampharos really isn't that necessary.

Of course super-COVID would come from India.

Admitting the advantages in being white is not racism. That's like saying stating advantages of being a guy or girl is sexism. It's an obvious and observable phenomenon, ignoring it simply means nothing ever changes.

Being Chinese is advantageous in China. Being Arab is advantageous in Saudi Arabia. Being black is advantageous in Africa. Being Hispanic is advantageous in South America.

So why should we feel bad for being white in a country in which whites are the vast majority? It's only logical that whites would have an advantage in a society that's 90+% white. Just like it's only logical that being Chinese is advantageous when living in China.

Do the employees at Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland also have to fill out a "Japanese/Chinese privilige" checklist or is it just the white man that's bad as per usual?
