That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual ending is pretty much exactly what we got on the show (in a hypothetical scenario where the books actually get an ending, this is) - so much of the last couple of episodes was so out of whack with what had been built up that I assume the D&D were told "this is the ending, this is how the show has to finish" and just didn't know how to get there organically. This is probably the case. I don't even have that much or an issue with the ending so much as how rushed it was to get to it. Of course, I will also die on the hill of people saying they had plenty to adapt from books 4 and 5 that those two books due to their structure would have made for fucking awful television. But thats me. Of course this is assuming he even finishes Winds and I dont believe for a second we will get Dream of Spring. And even if we do on the 0.1% chance of it, I don't trust him to be able to get everything tied up in 2 books, so a third is possible. Twitch metrics I think say if you have 100 viewers youre already in the top 10% of twitch or something like that. The people making Millions off of streaming and the like for the most part are rare and for some still actively have to work in the form of editing. But yeah honestly the employment situation is awful these days. Looking at most price lists has the most expensive cards at 15-20 dollars and those are mainly the mythics so youd need like 3 of the top chase cards per box to see a profit. To be honest, if this is how things are going to go, less than a month after he took office, and with a supermajority, I think dems are going to have a hard time getting people to go out to the polls next election cycle. They don't actually have a supermajority though is the issue. A supermajority would be the 60 votes in the Senate necessary to override the filibuster. Since they don't have that they would need to vote to quash the filibuster but Manchin has come out and said he's not going to vote to remove it.
