I ordered a new sd card from best buy, which for some reason doesn't want to respect my decision to use this address and defaulted to my old address. I didn't pay attention assuming it was on the right address, didn't notice the mistake until this morning when it was out for delivery. UPS has the 'where's my truck' noticed that it wasn't anywhere near my apartment...then recognized it as my old address...then went back to the best buy order and sure enough it was set to the old address. Basically another loot based arpg or diablo clone if you will. That's picking up off of things that path of exile, grim dawn, and diablo 3 have done. Today's patch is updating one of it's biggest needs by revamping it's end game system. The current end game is probably a bit of a mix between D3 rifts with poe Maps. Now it will shift a little more towards poe maps with a touch of synthesis league. A couple of new skills added, an ui overhaul, an improvement to their already fantastic in game loot filter, and as someone who gravitates towards minion builds re-worked minion ai. My personal favorite addition they've made to the genre is how they're handling their loot filter. Everything drops id, so you can set up very sophisticated loot filters so everything you see is actually worth looking at. So instead of like path of exile where a wurms molt drop can't tell the difference between a head hunter until you mouse over it and see oh this is garbage. You can set up for just these base types i want these affixes. Obviously very helpful the further into end game you get. The feature they probably get the most praise for is how they tackled crafting, to have a good balance between dropped items and crafting. You aren't gambling to hope you get an affix you want, you're gambling how high can you get the affixes you want. They also have it so dropped affixes are capable of dropping higher than you can craft, so you'll have chase items to follow that you can't just craft. If for some reason you want a little longer view of my take I wrote up a review when I first played in march.
