These books were written in a different time and Seuss went back and changed several images and rewrote several passages over the years from the originals. In Mulberry street, the chinese man was originally colored yellow and called "chinaman". This was changed by Seuss years later to be chinese man and with white skin. But you have to realize that this was 1937, a completely different world and Seuss corrected almost all of these things over the decades that followed and went on to write books specifically against racism. |

Gamestop you have a minimum of $5 and the rest is optional until the game comes out. You can do the same at Best Buy in store. $5 down. Pay the rest when it comes out. if you do it online instead, Best Buy charges initially, but then that charge falls off till you pick it up. Most other retailers function exactly the same. Amazon also does it this way. Gamestop isnt doing anything special. |

The chapter in cold steel 3 that takes place in Crossbell early on is supposed to emotionally destroy you, but it wont if you didnt play the Crossbell games. Youll understand the plot fine because Falcom does a great job explaining things, but you miss out on a lot of emotion. |

CS does a good job of explaining what happened Thats because cold steel 1 and 2 take place at the same time as Crossbells two games. The whole cast from sky is in Crossbell at this point so Cold Steel 1 and 2 introduces a whole new cast without a lot of references because everyone else is in a different country. Coldsteel 3 takes place partially in Crossbell which is where you really need the previous titles to understand whats going on. So yeah Cold Steel 1 and 2 can stand on their own, but thats only because everyone else is in the other game at the same time. Once 3 comes theyre no longer running simultaneously and the whole cast is together. |

That makes up seven of the ten games. The two games that take place between trails in the sky and coldsteel are not officially in English but have been translated so well that it doesnt much matter. These are both on PC with fan patches. The most recent game is on Ps4, Hajimari, and hasnt been localized yet. Cant wait till more people get to play it because its my favorite. The one thing thing this series has going against it is also its biggest flaw. These games should be played in order. They follow one central plot with a cast that continuously grows in size. That said Persona is almost juvenile in comparison. Persona is great, but it cant compare to the 1000 hour epic Nihon Falcom has created. If anyone picks these games up or starts just be prepared to read. Each game has as much text as all lord of the rings novels combined. Trails games consistently rank among the largest scripts in gaming, with only visual novels surpassing them. The average length of a trails game is 100 hours with some being closer to 60 and some of the more recent entries being 120-150+ hours. Well worth the investment if youre ready to see an actual fictional world develop in front of your eyes. |

Compare this to other games that came out around that time. Fallout 3, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock. The remaster isn't it because now nearly every game looks this good. Closest I can think of is actually the new Microsoft Flight Simulator which even makes my 3080/10700k combo cry.
