No you arent, workers rights are terrible in the US by comparison though I dont know much about exact levels of harassment. It certainly gets reported, like Riot in Dublin. The systems to protect workers here are better for sure.

i think the discrepancy is caused by people paying a lot of attention to the US (like KP said), not "the US is such a progressive country" lol. i'm sure europe sucks too when it comes to harassment but i doubt it's all that much worse than the US.

EC - still posts (from what i can tell, he mostly stopped posting about politics after DWMF disappeared, though)

not all of those users are/were necessarily libertarians, though. even though muffin created DWMF, calling him a "libertarian" is a stretch, since he was a huge trump supporter. and i don't remember what the philosophy jdtay adhered to was called but it wasn't quite libertarianism. "absolute passive anarchy" or something?

i'm sure there are also some libertarian users around who didn't post in DWMF.

u.s. agent only killed one guy, though, and he did so in a blind rage because his best friend had just been killed. punisher is more like a john wick type of character who regularly kills people. i wouldn't say the two are comparable.

just read more about this on twitter and apparently the reporter asked that question in direct response to greene saying children and skinny people can't get covid so never mind my comment. i guess i gave her the benefit of the doubt by assuming she was laughing because she found the question a little weird (that still wouldn't excuse the response, mind you) but nope. she literally just thinks people dying of covid is hilarious.

i didn't know greene that well but apparently she's some kind of insane qanon white supremacist so yeah, i guess her stances on covid aren't too surprising.

actually, you said in your post that you're not sure if you've ever listened to a full radiohead album so maybe you haven't heard it in its entirety yet!

but yeah, again, kid a is one of my favorite albums period and i think it's certainly the radiohead album that benefits the most from a full listenthrough. it's almost like a concept album in how deliberate the track order is, so listening to random tracks from it doesn't give you quite the same experience.

pablo honey - lol
the bends - you can skip this one. a lot of people love this album but it sounds like nothing more than boring britpop to me.
ok computer - overrated but good. not much electronica going on, though (they didn't really embrace electronic music until the next album). it's more art rock and prog rock.
kid a - one of the GOAT albums. but i'm pretty sure you've already heard this one so there you go.
amnesiac - great album.
hail to the thief - uneven album. it has some great songs and some songs i don't care for at all. also, i'm not sure how "mycro" this album is, given that it's not particularly "weird" or "electronic" or "progressive"... it's mostly just alt rock. worth a listen but not essential.
in rainbows - my second favorite radiohead album, behind kid a!
a moon shaped pool - this is the radiohead album i'm the least familiar with, i should listen to it again. i uh... maybe recommend it?

i mean, i haven't seen it yet but it has a 4.1 rating on IMDb. given how generous IMDb ratings are, that's not a great sign.

for comparison's sake, the phantom menace has a 6.5.

eh, i don't agree with this at all. i side with the analysis that the architect is telling neo all of that information because he WANTS him to pick the door that leads to trinity (i.e. the "wrong" option).

This is a ridiculous comparison. The reveal isn't even close to 'out of the blue'. From the get go, Loki's trying to figure out exactly what the TVA is. We know someone is behind the curtain from episode one. We just think it's the Time Keepers, then when they're revealed to be fake it turns into who's actually behind the creation of the TVA. Which frankly is far better writing than it just being the Time Keepers.

i don't see how it's a ridiculous comparison. ok, the "he who remains doesn't appear of the blue, unlike the architect" aspect is different, but they're both the exact same kind of "a character dumps a ton of exposition on the protagonist (actually the audience)" situations. again, this episode totally reminded me of the architect scene when i was watching it.

Also you're really referencing a Dan Murrell review? I haven't watched his reviews, but I've watched a lot of Movie Fights and he's by far the biggest buzz kill on Screen Junkies and it makes you wonder if he even enjoys watching movies.

he's not my favorite youtube movie critic or anything and i don't watch him regularly but he's ok. he always tries his best backing up his opinions with arguments, which is more than i can say for a ton of other youtube personalities reviewing movies.

and he loves tons of movies and from what i've seen on screen junkies/fandom, he's not even the most critical person on there. joe starr is probably more harsh.

i watched dan murrell's review of the episode and he said it was like the architect scene in the matrix reloaded. that's EXACTLY how i felt.

it's not completely the same because he who remains (ok, i won't be presumptuous and call him kang - according to wikipedia he's more like immortus than kang anyway? whatever) is a way more entertaining character than the architect. but it is a similar "a new character appears completely out of the blue and explains things to the protagonist (really the audience) for a ton of time" kind of thing. lazy writing.
