There are 2 minecraft speedruns one is done on the same map seed so everything is in the same place and the other is random. From what I understand the general community has latched onto everything being on the same seed. Even so, the speedrun basically relies on you using and giving items to find other items or places that don't have 100% success rates while moving as fast as possible. To say there is some element of luck in a minecraft run is an understatement. The issue with Dream was that his luck was so absurdly high during his run that it was deemed to be basically impossible. If you want to know the odds, math was done and it came out to 1 in 2 x 10^22 chance of it happening. |
