Within the past 5 years for the N64. Somehow, a friend set one up at his place and we played Goldeneye and Mario Tennis.

With the PS2, probably playing FFXII sometime around 8-10 years ago. Although I did use it as a DVD player in a spare room more recently than that.

As for when the last time is that I played a game from either system... Im currently playing Dark Cloud via PS4.

I initially wanted to say from 5th to 6th (N64/PS1 to GCN/PS2/Xbox).

But after putting some thought into it, while it was well before my time, I think you could make a serious case for the jump from 1st to 2nd generation. The 1st generation was largely made up of pong games and pong spin-off games... essentially hit-ball-with-paddle games. With the 2nd generation (Atari 2600 & Colecovision, among others), you had games that did not resemble pong at all, and in the case of the Colecovision, you even had home versions for arcade games like Donkey Kong and Zaxxon. Those were huge leaps, IMO.

I think it went in waves. When it first came out, people didnt like it. As time went by, it picked up steam as being an underappreciated game, and started to gain in popularity as a good title. Which then leads to the counterwave of people not liking it because they perceived it as a trendy think to retroactively like.

I have a personalized signed Michael Jordan pic from after the Bulls won their 2nd title. Same with a signed baseball from former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen (in which he spelled my name wrong, but Im not complaining... I got a kick out of that).

Zelda II is far from the best Zelda game, but I feel like it gets too much hate. It was a solid game for its time.

I have a group of buddies that take a trip every summer (except 2020 and probably 2021, for obvious reasons) on our quest to see a game at every MLB stadium. Went to Texas in 2015 and had a bit of a tour of the state over 4 days:

Dallas/Arlington = Saw the JFK stuff and a Rangers game
Austin = Pretty much went bar hopping and got wasted
San Antonio = Recovery day; Alamo, Riverwalk, took it easy
Houston = Astros game

as somebody who's young, doesn't have an underlying condition, unemployed, and only ever goes out to get food, i'm assuming they'd ask me to schedule later (whenever that is) when there's more supply (or is supply still even an issue? like i mentioned, completely out of the loop)?

Depends on your state. Most of them have schedules, where they are giving them to healthcare workers and those in nursing homes first, then the elderly, essential workers and those with health conditions, and then the rest of the public, based on various conditions.

If you Google your state and the vaccination schedule, you can probably get on a list to be notified when you are eligible.

I was always curious about this one. Never got around to it. Tried to download it on PS3, and it apparently isnt available online, but the game is going for much cheaper than I expected on eBay (with box and manual).

What are peoples thoughts on this game... worth giving it a shot, or not really?

For real, it'd be no fun if it dropped all at once.

It'd be like Stranger Things where it comes out and everyone watches it then a week later no one gives a fuck anymore.

I also like getting the chance to talk about the episodes with friends every week. If I binged a whole season in a day or two, Id probably talk about it with a friend over a much shorter time span than with the weekly release schedule.

It seemingly goes by kayfabe, so Nias spot is fine, IMO. If Nattie were to move up, the only person I feel is out of place is Lana. She should be at the bottom... but Id then move either Ruby or Peyton up ahead of Nattie.

Fun game, but I honestly couldnt say if it holds up, as I only played it around its release. The game felt like it really pushed the PSP to its limits, graphics-wise (which are wildly outdated by todays stands, but still very impressive for the PSP).
