I moved around a lot as a kid and have ridden many school buses. The two worst were over an hour long each way and I had to catch them at 6:55 AM and 7:05 AM, and I would get home around 5:30 PM. I was the first on last off for the former and second on second last off for the latter.

A series of explosions has injured hundreds of people in the city of Bata in Equatorial Guinea. Many more are feared to be trapped under the rubble.
Equatorial Guinea's largest city and main economic hub Bata was hit by four explosions on Sunday, local eyewitnesses reported. The cause of the blasts remains unknown.
The Ministry of Health said that at least 300 people had been injured, and that many were feared dead or trapped under the rubble. It said on Twitter that the explosion occured at a military barracks, where local media reported that thousands of people had been living.
State broadcaster TVGE reported that practically all of the houses in the military zone, as well as most of the houses nearby, had been damaged by the explosion. Reporters on the ground also reported seeing hospitals full with many wounded women and children
The health department told medical workers to head to hospitals, which were reportedly overwhelmed.
Local media reported that the vice president of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue had arrived at the scene of the explosion.
"Pain has hit Equatorial Guinea again right in the middle of its fight against the coronavirus pandemic with explosions this Sunday in the Rapid Intervention Barracks in Nkoantoma, in city of Bata. From here, I express my sincere grief for the victims," the vice president tweetd.

I was a multi store restaurant manager for 11 years. Over that time i saw several raises in minimum wage. Watched prices go up and labor go down, all by the orders of those on high. Shipments of supplies were greatly effected as well. They cheaped out and changed things several times. And when obamacare and all that settled, they got the worst of it. Massive labor cuts and nobody could get more than 28 hours a week.

I might still have access to all those old labor cutting memos, inventory price and local menu item prices from 08-19. The labor records would cover nearly 1000 employees.

If i can dig though, and compile all that data to show you that over time (specifically around times where min wage and other big cost to the company factors happened) everything went to shit, will you close your account?

Nobody gives a shit about your anecdotal evidence involving 0.00000000001% of the economy and the restaurant you worked at. I live in Ontario where they raised the minimum wage, nothing bad has happened. Noting bad has happened in Seattle, where they raised the minimum wage. Nothing bad happened in any place that raised minimum wage. But hey, its happened in a bunch of places, if its going to be as bad for the economy as you claim Im sure you can find a location where its had negative effects right? Go ahead, prove via evidence and not prognostication that boosting minimum wage will negatively impact the economy. Not one store, not one restaurant, but the economy.

Whats going to happen is a steep but gradual price increase on basic goods.

Hours will be cut and 4 people will start doing the job of 8. Service will suffer greatly.

Quality will drop because companies will start looking for cheaper and cheaper things to use for ingredients and services.

This isnt how it should be, but this is how it will happen.

Sure, if we ignore all the places minimum wage was raised significantly and that didnt happen and focus and all those places where it did happen.

Part 6 is my all round favourite as its just so tongue in cheek and self referential. Parts 1-4 are the golden age of the series though, with Part 5 in a very close race for worst Friday, along with part 9.

Ill preface this by saying Im an incredibly competitive person who always plays on the hardest hardest difficulty, I have a 2.0+ K/D in most any competitive game Ive played, and back in the early aughts I was a top fifty Tekken Tag Tournament player worldwide.

I could not care any less if theres an easy mode. Hell I couldnt care less if theres a very easy mode. In fact Ill go so far as to say its ridiculous to complain about the difficulty level someone else plays a game at, and it really does say something about you if you feel it isnt. It literally has absolutely no bearing on you or your abilities.

Although bows are a go to in Skyrim they were pretty underpowered in Oblivion, the only exception is when you have maxed skills and that bow from the oblivion gate, I forget what its called right now. At that point its the second best damage producing style in the game, but thats only helpful late/end game.

There's not enough evidence, but there is evidence. Whenever it gets posted to a topic like this it either gets ignored or somebody claims that the sample size isn't big enough but isn't willing to agree to the notion that the study should be repeated with a larger sample size.

For example, here's a study that looked at strength across a cohort of trans men and trans women that found that even after a year of treatment the trans women still outperformed the trans men.

I think Rogers has the streaming rights to it, but instead of putting it on a paid service they dump it on FX Canada, which for some reason you can only access if you already pay for cable.

If you subscribe to FX via cable you can stream it, but thats just ridiculous, and if its like any other network dedicated streaming service its going to be missing shows and even entire seasons. Its like when I got STACKTV via Amazon Prime; went to finally watch Rick and Morty for the first time only to find out I can only watch like three or four episodes from the first season, and even then they dont include the first episode, it starts off at episode four.
