It might be worth noting that the HD Remaster of Final Fantasy X is the PAL version of the game. It has some differences from the version originally released in North America, largely positive ones, but most notably it makes backtracking much harder for a very specific reason. I say this only because it prevented my wife from completing FFX to the extent she wanted to and that was her first time playing.

Main incident begins right before 5 minutes.

Basically, Team Momo were competing for a podium position. There were three marbles that managed to separate ahead of the pack by quite a bit (like three seconds). However, one of those marbles got stuck after a rough collision on the course. The safety marble was unable to knock them loose. The race officials allowed the race to continue for three more laps and then straight up stopped and restarted it at the current lap which brought all the marbles back together. The result was Team Momo finishing in 8th while the Hazers won the race after having began in last. The fact that it was on their own course is suuuuper fishy, y'know? It's just such a Hazers thing to allow a finish to be so murky.

Crazy Cat's Eyes is the only team I like to see fail. However, the stunt pulled during Marbula One at the Hazers home racetrack really soured me on them as well so if they were to fall on their faces, I wouldn't be upset about it.

Since I'll be taking a couple of days off before Round 4, I wanted to open up discussion on a possible rule change in terms of voting format for this upcoming round. It will remain round robin 1v1 matches, but how matches are actually voted on and results scored is potentially up for debate. Here are the two options I'm mulling over:

Aggregate Round 2 scoring (5-0, 4-1, 3-2). Scores carry over from match to match. Winning a match gives you +10 to your total score, drawing a +5. *CURRENT FORMAT*

Actual World Cup scoring. In a match you cast a single vote for a character. Winner of a match earns +3 points in the standings, drawing earns +1. Tiebreaker is total score differential.

I don't want to change the announced format without hearing plenty of input. If you are supportive or indifferent towards the change, please say so. Likewise, if you do not want the format changed, please express your concern. If vocal support for the change is noticeably higher than a desire for the format to remain the same, I'll make the switch.
