I was somewhat interested in it until I watched Skill Up's review. It seems more like Ubisoft type game with an unnecessarily huge open world with nothing interesting to do, and that completely turns me off.

It's funny that an old game like Banjo Kazooie feels more "open world" than just about every modern game that's 100-1000x larger. When there's something to do around every corner an open world feels ways bigger.

They got me too recently. That M1 Macbook Air is by far the best laptop I have ever owned. Then right after that went on sale I was able to get a 2020 iPhone SE for $100. I had been wanting a small phone anyway, and it was the best on the market. And I love smartwatches, and Apple has the best of those as well. Then finally I got some Powerbeats Pros.

One of the other reasons I moved over to Apple's ecosystem is I hate how Android phones get abandoned after like one or two years of updates.

The world changes way too fast nowadays with technological progression to classify people in generations anymore. A kid born in 2010 is going to grow up in a very different world than a kid who was born in 2000.

For one thing, the retro gaming market has gone off the rails lately. Pretty much anything you can't buy in stores anymore has been heavily inflated in price.

The other thing is probably related to fact that the system was fully hacked a couple of years ago, which tends to drive up the value of game consoles.

I didn't really have an issue with his death. He was on old man who was completely outnumbered, and he had no armor. Yeah, he was a legendary swordsman, but that can only take you so far.

What was stupid was he was one of the queen's top advisors roaming around a city with an insurgency problem while unarmored and without security detail.

Outside of the antenna issue I really haven't had too much trouble with my HOA. The bylaws were written without punishments, so they're more like suggestions. Our fees are only $240 a year, and they keep the parking lot cleared of snow and the grass cut, so I can't complain too much.

Your apartment is also likely much smaller than a hypothetical house you would buy. If the size of your apartment is fine with you then home ownership probably isn't for you.

For me, I'm 5 years into a 10 year mortgage paying less a month in mortgage + taxes and insurance than what my townhome would cost to rent. I'm going to have it paid off before I'm 40. So my "rent" will only be about $150 a month in 5 years.

What's the point of a virus? They are non-living things that thrive on living things and are the reason why we have immune systems and evolved from single cell organisms.

When it comes down to it all organisms are just vessels for DNA to be spread. We're really not much different than viruses.

I don't think the current generation of games are going to "feel" very next gen until we completely abandon the previous gen. Most of the games out right now are cross-gen. Those 5400RPM hard drives that have been standard on game consoles has been a bottleneck for gaming for 20 years.

Yeah 20 years ago soy milk was something you had to buy in small cartons at like health food stores, now there are 50 alternate milks in every grocery store in every city, just for one example.

I live in a small, rural town with tons of land used for cattle. Our grocery store had a sign front and center as you walk in advertising all of the plant-based products they have. It's crazy how quickly demand has risen for plant-based food.

I was working on carpentry at the time and I wasnt getting enough protein and it just sucked lol. I really dont see how people do it, its denying yourself so much of the experiences of life. Almost every single vegan I know has slid back into vegetarian at the least. Its no way to live when food is such a daily pleasure type thing. Im against factory farming but if I get to the point where I can sustain my meat intake on just wild caught meat Ill do that. A single deer can last a long time etc

What kind of stuff were you eating that you weren't getting enough protein? I work a physically demanding job and exercise after work most days, and I had no trouble getting enough protein despite a complete lack of animal products in my diet. Most people already consume nearly double the protein they need.

I've had various vegan things that tasted really good. If we can keep working that way, then maybe. Happy to say that I know I can at least be pushed to vegetarian. Vegan? A little too hard, but willing to move that direction at the least.

Veganism is getting easier every day. It won't be too much longer and even vegan dairy alternatives are going to be on par with dairy because it's straight up going to be the same chemically. There are several companies working on making dairy proteins by fermenting them with microflora. You can even buy some ice cream made from it already.

Have you ever tried soy curls? Once you cook them up they have practically the same texture as chicken. Add some chicken-flavored seasoning and it makes a great substitute for chicken. Or you can get ground meat with TVP.

1. That doesn't mean what I said is untrue. Health problems are very common in chickens because they were bred in a way that makes them naturally unhealthy.

1. I see no reason not to eat ethically-farmed eggs.

1. The issue I have with eggs is to produce them in any kind of meaningful scale requires a breed of chicken that lays 30x as many eggs a year as their wild counterpart. There are tons of health issues associated with that like calcium deficiency, prolapses, and egg binding.
2. It's the same issue with dairy. To make a meaningful amount of milk requires a breed of cow that produces an unhealthy amount of milk. It also requires the cow to be constantly impregnated. If they don't kill the male calves they get from it you will end up with an enormous surplus of bulls. It would be a waste of resources trying to reform dairy at this point. They can now produce dairy proteins without cows, so the whole industry is fucked long-term anyway. Money would be better spent towards propping up cultured dairy proteins.
3. Black Americans are three times as likely to be vegan as any other American despite being one of the poorest demographics. Veganism is cheap as long as you aren't relying on prepackaged meat substitutes.

Meat's price is artificially low because it gets massive subsidies, both directly and indirectly. There's a reason we produce assloads of corn and soy. It's subsidized by the government and mostly fed to livestock. We also subsidize dairy which supplies the beef industry with 20% of its meat.

It's amazing. Way cheaper than real beef and even more so than vegan meat like Impossible Burger. It doesn't require refrigeration, and it can be flavored any way you want. When buying it keep in mind that it produces 3x as much as the beef equivalent once you rehydrate it. 1LB of TVP will make 3LBs of "meat".

It's also available in strips which is also really fun to cook with. I make Philly cheesesteaks with it.

You can often find these at health food stores and some grocery stores, usually Bob's Red Mill. I buy them in bulk from these places.

There are lots of good meat alternative brands not. The products have really improved over the last 10 years. Some really good brands have been appearing such as Gardein, Beyond Meat, and Impossible Burger.

You don't necessarily have to become vegan/vegetarian, but it is one of the better ways to help address climate change as meat production is incredibly inefficient. A reduction of meat consumption is still good even if you don't plan on going full vegetarian.

The best thing to do is making your own vegan meat with soy curls or textured vegetable protein. It's way cheaper than the premade vegan meat, it doesn't need refrigerated so it's easy to buy in bulk and store it, and it's basically the same main ingredient of most plant-based meats (usually called soy protein concentrate). It's also more versatile because you season it yourself.

Have you ever used TVP before? It's great in chili. It's a cheap way to replace ground beef. Season it with soy sauce, steak sauce, some garlic and onion powder, and beef-flavored seasoning.

Health isnt the point anymore, now its all about how Cow farts are dangerous.

All the heavy machinery used to cultivate miles and miles of plants and the big factories they have to go through to be processed are fine though, cow farts and shrimp are destroying our planet.

A majority of our crops are used to feed livestock. Without animal ag we could greatly reduce the amount of agriculture we do.
