The only reasons I've seen in favor of lifting restrictions are dishonestly referring to the CDC guidelines because they are selfishly tired of being "locked down." This isn't a stab at you as I don't know how your response will be, but it is extremely frustrating seeing users like Rebel, who are actually intelligent, take such a poorly thought out stance. No person capable of critical thinking that believes the pandemic is over when considering the following facts: -we will not reach herd immunity via vaccinations -the required herd immunity will be reached via natural infections that will potentially overwhelm hospitals again across the country -hundreds of people are dying daily still in the US -we are still way early on to hand waive concerns over the vaccine efficacy against variants -these variants are mutating quickly and will continue to do so among the unvaccinated -vaccinated people can still get and transmit the disease, even if little (for now) The pandemic is not over by a long shot and way too many people are think otherwise. Forced vaccinations is never going to happen. Again, for what should be obvious reasons.
