Yes a PVM is in fact better quality than any consumer set but I don't think the difference is as massive as you're making it out to be. Especially considering the additional money you'd need to fork out for one over a consumer set which will be anywhere from $0-$75. I picked up a 32' Toshiba for free off Craigslist from a elderly couple that never used it. That Toshiba rivals the Sony Trinitron(the go to retro gaming consumer tv) and has component, s-video, and composite. After popping open the back and tweaking the colors, it looks outstanding. I have my Genesis, Saturn, and OG xbox running component while the N64 and Dreamcast are running on s-video.This is mostly correct I suppose. The most important thing is whatever output it supports. I think the PVMs are probably the best in terms of quality and design, but yeah they might not be worth the price for everyone. Like I said I really love CRTs, might not be the absolute best source. |

The best output it supports is s-video, which I think looks good. It's better than regular composite (the yellow red and white cable youd plug into your old tv), however it's inferior to some of the higher end CRT outputs. I bought it more cause I love the aesthetic design of this particular monitor, and less cause of it's video quality (which is decent however). If you're serious about getting a CRT, get a Sony PVM. Really high quality, all kinds of higher quality connection types, RGB, component (and usually s-video too). 13 inch or less might be around $500 or so. 20 inch or more $1000. I'm not there yet but I really want a 19 or 20 or 21 inch PVM, so I'll do that someday. (you go bigger than that and CRTs start to get REALLY heavy. I wouldnt buy one more than 21 inches) If you're not that serious, buy a cheap (sub $100 ideally), small CRT, see how you like it, and decide if you want to upgrade. Just understand though the quality of the average consumer sets we'd all watch at home in the 90s, is far inferior to the PVM (professional video monitors) that Sony and other manufacturers put out. Those things are just crisp, deep, vibrant and beautiful. Though I am someone who loves the technology. |

My favorite CRT and a big collection of complete Famicom and Super Famicom games, and original Xbox. I've wanted a decent collection for years, but have had nothing for a long time. |

However if someone has had multiple unprovoked DVTs (even while on anticoagulants) then lifelong therapy might be indicated.My dad has been on anticoagulants for life, so it wouldn't surprise me for that to be the case. I feel probably 90% better, but six months in I still am dealing with the dvt in my leg. I think what provoked it in this instance was several months of very little physical activity. Last year I went from taking regular walks to having almost no physical activity, and my job moved to my desk at home, which is where I spend my free time already. So there was about 4 - 5 months of no activity. The thought of taking them for years, and then my body after years becoming acclimated where it really does need them, scares me. I'd rather get off of it as soon as possible. I'm not a medical professional, and I'm going to listen to my doctors or get opinions from other doctors I see, but it just worries me. |

I let it get a lot worse than I should have. I wasnt sure what was causing my limp, I thought I mgiht have injured myself but I couldnt remember. It felt like muscle pain so I was sure that was it. I sat on it for a week with it getting worse and worse every day. Message is, get checked out. As far as procedures like that, I think stuff like that might exist but it's more of a last resort thing. It's better if it just dissolves on its own. |

It hurts like really bad muscle pain, but you can't touch or massage it cause you could dislodge it and have a stroke or pulmonary embolism (to the lungs what a stroke is to the brain). But, before I knew I had a blood clot, for like a week I was massaging it and it felt REALLY good to massage. Like, there was this perfect point on my leg where I could really reach the pain. Anyway its really good I got checked out and stopped doing that. But, if there was some way to induce that terrible pain, so I could massage it without risk of death, it would be worth it to do so cause it felt so good. |

I would love to make a romhack, adding in more variations to the different level color schemes. Mario Maker 2 added new themes to Mario World, that fit the style of that game, but weren't apart of the original (for example, a snow world in Mario World style). Idk what would be the best snes game, though. My favorite is probably King of Dragons or Dragonview |
