Not sure why I mentioned citizenship, though. Asian-American refers to ethnicity, right?

Like I'm a caucasian American living in Japan, but I wouldn't suddenly become Asian-American if I were to gain Japanese citizenship.

I would say she counted since she's lived most of her life in the U.S.

Technically, she apparently did, since she had to renounce it to play for Japan in the Olympics. (Japan forces people with dual-citizenship to choose one or the other by their 22nd birthday).

Okay, that I can see being more of an issue.

It just seems crazy given that I thought it was a pretty popular show.

Netflix does that a lot. They want new subscribers all the time, and their logic seems to be that if you haven't signed up for the first two or three seasons of a show, then you probably aren't going to.

Yeah, I'm in the Discord that Greg Rucka (comic creator) runs, and he said that was a pretty big gutpunch, because the cast and crew were excited about coming back, then...poof.

Warren Ellis stepped down as showrunner after dozens of women came out accusing him of improper behavior (nothing illegal, i.e. rape or molestation, but some incredibly skeevy behavior; he was basically exposed as a serial love-em-and-leave-em type who used his cred in the comic industry to advance or stall several womens careers), and as he was the driving force behind the show, Netflix probably decided this was as good a time as any to finish the story, given their tendency to only give most shows around 30 episodes.

I'd presume because he starts out as a "bad guy" but ends up working with the police. In other words, because the person making this thing doesn't actually understand how alignments work. If anything, he transitions from chaotic neutral to chaotic good as he develops, since he's generally not one for following any sort of rules, but shifts from working toward self-interest to working for the sake of society.

Exactly. Plus Madam Mim is definitely Lawful Evil, not Chaotic Neutral. Honestly, I'd almost put Br'er Fox in the CN slot.

If my wireless Xbox controller batteries go dead (or the battery pack, which finally happened with my 360 one), then I can just pop in a couple rechargables.

If a wireless Playstation controller battery goes dead, you either have to keep it plugged in (which defeats the purpose of a wireless controller) or buy a new one. It's a really good scam.

I didnt hate it but I think Captain Marvel is the only movie in the franchise that I only watched in theaters. Ill probably give it another watch eventually but it wasnt all that memorable to me.

While I think setting it so far in the past made sense for the story they wanted to tell, it had the downside of therefore not feeling as connected to the current films.

Not even sure about that. I think most people don't enjoy that movie a ton. I liked it, thought it was pretty solid but its on the lower tier for most. I think you'll probably enjoy the movies much more than you're imagining if you liked that one.

I think CATFA is fine to watch first, because it's almost totally self-contained; the only real connection you have to the other MCU films at the time (by that point, Iron Man 1 & 2, Thor 1, & The Incredible Hulk, which is easily the one that can be dropped the most without affecting anything) is Fury showing up at the end.

2 or just before, I think. My mom would sometimes go by a convenience store which had a drive-up window (a mom & pop, not a chain) to buy things. I'm pretty sure we were on our way home from my grandma's (she kept me while my mom was at work) because it was dark, and I remember being in my car seat and my mom laying a can of something in there with me.

Things like this are why teenagers usage of social media needs to be heavily restricted. Any adult can look at this objectively and think "he should have just told his parents the truth", but many people that age don't have the perspective or maturity to deal with such a seemingly serious issue.
