I don't see the fat, what I am saying is if they didn't have work done they'd likely be skinny fat.

Male steroids are classified (kind of inaccurately) in two forms: androgenic (more side effects) and anabolics (less side effects; muscle building is the desired effect).

They aren't muscle selective. Humans are built like chickens and white meat is more sensitive to anabolics than dark meat. If the abs were the result of anabolics, we'd also see major development in the shoulder area (traps, delts, neck and *upper* chest), also arms and even some legs.

Yeah Gorillas are also a lot stronger than humans. The advantages a human has over a gorilla is skill, strategy, grip, and predatory abilities. Gorilla's primary offense is biting (twice the pressure of a lion bite) but they don't know the best places for biting

But what I was trying to convey was that the main difference between ciswomen and transwomen according to that survey is just how big they are. It doesn't say that transwomen are stronger than ciswomen all else being equal. The difference in strength and size is 1:1. So if they're the same weight class, it may cancel out.

All else equal though, if your LBM is higher at the same weight, you'd still have a strength. The science is young, but there are studies that show even after 12 months of HRT that transwomen's grip strength decreases by about 4 lbs. If we used grip strengths of American men today, that still enough to encourage women to get on the sauce to compete (in a sport already plagued by PEDs)

I actually think this article makes a pretty bad argument for this case. What they find is basically that male transgender athletes have more LBM, grip strength and leg extension strength than ciswomen. But the ratio between LBM and strength is almost 1:1. Weight classes could address that. It doesn't say any thing about people of the same size.

I thought that was assumed: their hormone levels are comparable but their bodies don't get there

Science is showing yes. There is still the question of height and proportion of limbs though with a few other things; but yeah you kill your speed and power without the testosterone. After 2 years those all slope off and it's essentially equal footing.

There's science that says after 3 years transwomen still have more LBM, greater strength, and greater muscle cross section than ciswomen

I don't really even understand why this is always portrayed as some major battleground in regards to trans rights. There are ares in which biology matters. It doesn't matter pretty much 99% of the time, but there will be times and places their status as trans is relevant. This is one of them.

I wouldnt even use trans, more like the benefits of PEDs
