Sewell makes a lot of sense here but I wouldn't be surprised if Burrow is lobbying hard for Chase.

Burrow might want an actual O Line so he doesn't get blown up for another season though. Sewell is the standout #1 OL.

I hated the Robin twist. Apollo is the best though.

Never played the orca dlc, figured it'd be a silly little thing but I think people actually like it!

I liked it all the way up to the ultimate cop out of "Oh Robin was a girl all along" when they had perfectly set her up to be a CD or closet trans.

Copping out and turning it into that kind of joke damaged my rating of the case significantly.

Also I'm ok with Filch. Not a great character, but I certainly didn't find him "bad". I would definitely say I find Jinxie more annoying.

They didn't even try to PR it. They didn't build up to it. They just released it as a bulk "Hey guys, we've been lying to you repeatedly the whole time, but it's definitely for the good of football, so we're cool, right?"

Almost every person, even executives on the teams, had no idea this was coming. This incredible backlash was partly because of the overwhelming failure of these owners to do any part of this process correctly.

This will not be a hard bar to clear. Tales games have some of the worst environments of any JRPG and I'm glad to see them actually trying this time around.

Berseria looks, sounds, and plays siginficantly better than Zestiria, despite only being less than two years newer. I think they've already started to get the point.

8 teams have now pulled out, and Real Madrid's owner has now tripled down on the project, saying everyone but him is wrong and that the attack on the Super League was premeditated and orchestrated, which is pretty funny in the context that they were planning to stab UEFA in the back for a long time, and did so shortly negotiating a new deal with them.

There's a big difference this time that may result in a more effective outcome though. We just had a very high profile guilty verdict, and most of the Ultra Consecutive nutjobs are keeping their mouth shut at the moment.

There's Democratic and GOP collaboration in the Senate for getting something passed within the next month, but we'll have to see what comes of it.

There does seem to be enough people on both sides who don't want to see cops commit serious crimes and get away with them, so there's at least that.

Like, let's put it in this perspective: IS-7 manages to remain relevant for 3 consecutive cases, but DL-6 manages to singlehandedly set the tone for an entire case, do it well, and well remain relevant for three consecutive games. 3-5 has an important plot point that calls directly back to DL-6. The case is again referenced in AAI. It has a lingering effect that isn't only localized to it's one game.

Even if you judge it only on it's one case, it has a strong case for number one, before you even factor in that no other "background case" has anywhere near the lasting relevance, or meaning, of DL-6.

I find it hilarious how fast this is falling apart after how long it must have taken in secret to agree to this.

The question is simple though: How could they possibly have expected any other result other than extreme backlash?

Nothing in US sports comes anywhere near comparing to the fervor over football in Europe and South America. This basically just shit over an entire continent of fans and somehow tried to also shoehorn Covid as part of its excuse for doing it.

No, watching live coverage and a legal expert said over the next 2 months both sides can present arguments for mitigating or aggravating factors for sentence length, after which the judge will give the sentence.

The charges carry possible sentences of up to 40 years, 25, and 10 each. Not sure if it's the judge's discretion whether whatever sentence term he arrives is to be served consecutively or concurrently.

I've heard sources say it both ways, so I honestly have no idea. The first thing I heard was it'd be consecutive, but now I'm hearing concurrent.

I didn't think second degree was even remotely possible at the start of this. Big credit to the prosecution.

I thought it was possible but super unlikely. I don't think the video alone was enough to get a second degree conviction, but it was definitely enough for the other two.

Though I did just remember that judges do tend to be more reluctant to give appeals to cases where a guilty verdict was reached quickly, so let's hope we don't run into one that does. It's possible.

I was absolutely holding my breath as the judge read the first verdict (2nd degree unintentional murder; the charge with the longest sentence) because it's the one you figured would be the strongest charge. Once it came in guilty I exhaled and figured the others would come in the same, and they did.

I thought there was a chance he could get the lesser two, but not that one.

Though I thought they'd completely blow it on all three counts anyway.

I can't believe one of these trials actually went the correct way for once.

Until he gets a retrial on appeal because people wouldn't stay out of it.

And then they're going to have to get him convinced again, or we might actually end up with an even worse case scenario.

I have one big issue with 6-4, and its Athena's total regression as a competent standalone lawyer.

She's under way more pressure with a year's less experience in 5-3, but she constantly needs Simon to bail her out in 6-4. Why?

It bugs me about 5-1 too. Both of these cases aren't as hard as one she led the charge on without needing her hand held.

Yes, Simon adds some good moments, but the case itself is fairly annoying and I really don't like what they did to Athena. It's the only case she gets and Simon may as well be leading the defense for her.
