Nope but it's not connection lag it's more like everything has a .25 second startlag. I kept forgetting to turn off the "auto move when attacking" so maybe that could have alleviated some issues.

I mean even if it ran flawlessly I don't think there's enough here to grab my attention for any longer than it has. The strategy is way too simple so every match is basically the same minus the coinflip of whether or not your teammates know what they're doing.

If both teams know what they're doing THEN it comes down to who can actually win a teamfight and the whole game is decided on 2 or 3 of those.

I think there's an interesting shell for a game here but I'll stick to Heroes of the Storm ARAM for my MOBA fix. I hope this game has a lot of success for the people who enjoy it though

I had a game recently where I was level 11 and someone on my team was level 4 without AFKing somehow. I feel like you have to intentionally try to avoid EXP at that point.

Unrelated but I think I'm officially done with this game. There was about 4 or 5 days where I was just logging in and doing quick matches to finish my daily missions so I don't think I was ever really enjoying it. Game design aside I think it just doesn't feel good to actually play. Auto attacks are laggy and everything has this weird sort of jello/lag feeling that gets on my nerves.

If this were on PC with M+KB controls I might give it more time but I'm done for now barring some massive patches/updates.

Got an LR PHY Broly dupe from the free crappy tickets. I'm going to pretend I pulled him from the LR Android 17 banner so I can feel better about the amount of stones I spent on it.

I'm sitting at around 100 stones so I think I'm just going to avoid this Videl banner. Yeah she's a good card but her categories and links are rough.

Wow Team Fiesta is a lot of fun. It's Team Deathmatch but your loadout is randomized whenever you die.

Well grenades actually don't do any damage to other players, they're just for closing enemy portals. I wouldn't mind an actual grenade though. Melee does 50 damage which is half health so I think that's fine honestly.

I'm excited to see what pro players can do with these portal shenanigans.

My favorite thing about this expansion so far is that if you ever leave 2 minions alive on the board you take 30 damage the next turn.

I'm not super great at FPS either but I think the portals actually make it easier because you can be tricky in fights instead of having to rely on pure skill.

It's in open beta right now and the full release is either the end of this month or sometime next month. I've been having a lot of fun and it's pretty crazy that nobody thought to add portals to FPS.

I considered buying the battle pass but no premium currency in the pass was a dealbreaker for me. Most of these battle passes give you enough currency to keep buying future passes so you could theoretically only buy one if you grinded enough but that's not the case here.

I could see myself spending 5 dollars on a future pass if the level 90 skin is good enough though.

Been having more fun with the game lately now that I'm basically just playing Zeraora and jungling in ranked games. It's a little easier to make up for your teammates when you're getting 15+ kills and 200 points a game.

He plays standard for like a day or two whenever a new expansion releases. He made it about halfway through 1 day and then started playing arena and BGs. He said it was the least amount of fun he's ever had on day 1 of an expansion.

After a match you can try to add your opponent as friends. If you press A on their name and nothing pops up then they were actually bots. If you press A and there's a little menu that says "Add friend, block, report, etc" then they were real people. And yes, this happens in ranked matches too. I've seen some people say that if you lose 3 in a row you're guaranteed to get a bot match but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

So yeah those were probably bots.

Yeah mana cheat has always been the biggest problem in Hearthstone I think. I also think it's way past time to send auctioneer to wild.

I'm not sure if the Shaman one does either but 5 viable OTK decks is pretty rough, quests or not. I don't think there's anything wrong with combo but it's a problem when it's dominating the meta.

General consensus on Reddit (yes, I know) right now is that this is the worst expansion. Half of the quests are basically OTK solitaire decks and honestly I can't disagree with them. In the mage mirror the optimal play is to use your frost spells on your own minions so that your opponent doesn't have a target for their frost spells. It's the same for other classes and that's pretty awful design for a card game.

Rogue has an OTK they can do on turns 6-8
Warlock has an OTK from 7-9 with stealer of souls
Demon Hunter has (the same) OTK
Mage is basically OTK if you've cast double flow before finishing your quest
Even Shaman has a bad OTK deck right now!

Kripp thinks that they're going to completely Baku/Genn the questlines and remove them from standard in like a month or two because they're too oppressive and poorly designed. I can't realistically believe they would completely nuke this whole expansion like that but they botched these questlines so hard that maybe they will.

Obviously we're only a DAY into this expansion but I don't think any theorycrafting is going to fix these questlines.

I have to agree that quest mage is also pretty silly. You play Dawngrasp and then sometimes you can draw 10 cards for 0 mana (2 discounted cram sessions) and then shoot 30+ damage face.

After about 5 days with this game I'm not sure I'm going to keep playing. I'm not taking it super seriously but I feel like I still can't even enjoy it casually when your teammates are completely braindead 75% of the time.

The amount of games I've had where my lane partner tries to score with 5 points, gets completely blown up, and then moves to the other lane to leave me completely alone, is WAY too many. Also the most common amount of junglers is always 0 or 2, never 1.

I know that this is baby's first MOBA for a lot of people but as someone who put way too much time into Dota 2 back in the day it's driving me insane.

On top of that I think there's too many fundamental issues that I just don't agree with. The slow/speed lane should deal poison damage or something because right now it's completely useless. Snorlax should not be able to push your entire team off the tower with one move while his whole team scores.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying it but I'm not sure I can say the same.

Highlights of my games today:

Winning by over 700 with a guy named "cumguzzler69" (he was MVP too)

Losing a game where the final score was 420-421. We even took Zapdos, scored, and then stalled them from scoring in the last minute. Always score when you have the chance I guess!

Landing Mr Mime combos all day. His wall is the perfect support because you can save your dumb teammates who overextend.

I feel like this game would have a ton more strategy if you could just see the damn score during the match. Sure it might encourage more people giving up earlier but I think if our team knew we were down by ONE POINT then we might have played a little different.

It's okay at this point there's only like 3 or 4 LRs that I don't have so it was bound to be a dupe of something. At least he'll get an EZA eventually to maybe make him not trash and there aren't any other SSJ3 Goku's that it needs to compete with really.

I made it to 30 with SOR1 Adam. I had 4 jumps and all elemental buffs on my jump attack so it was pretty easy to get that far.

I also S-Ranked all of the Hard stages but I ran out of patience farming all of the special moves and beating the game with everyone so I'm taking a break for now. Ended up with about 30 hours in 2 weeks which is pretty good!

First impressions on the new set:

Handlock is going to be everywhere and very hard to deal with. Auto loss for other control decks and probably enough healing and board clears to stay out of aggro range.

Raza Hunter (0 mana hero power that refreshes after every spell after you finish the quest) might also be hard to deal with or it's too slow.

Hearthstone needs more cards like this even if I think it's pretty bad:

I think Ignite Mage could see potential as a sort of combo deck. There's a way to do 30+ damage with ignite, Sanctum Chandler, and Hot Streak at the end of the game. Your deck just needs to be completely out of spells and Ignite needs to start at 6 damage when you start the combo.

Ehhh you can't reliably use it to clear something because of the RNG so I think it's worse than if it just had rush. And let's be real it's never surviving to trigger a 2nd time if you have to play this on turn 7. Maybe Warrior will have a way to cheat him out earlier?

Hmm maybe that could have been an episode instead of a whole series. I don't really think the villain Loki from the first episode could carry a whole season as the main character. His character development is a little rushed with what we got but I think that's a necessary evil.

Lose games all day no matter what deck I'm playing.

Switch to Battlegrounds and get a ridiculous triple Brann comp. Lose a 30% and then die with 6% lethal.

Looks like it's daily quest mode until the new expansion because this sucks right now.
