The thing is, the phone model expects the same hardware more or less every year with just iterative updates.

Whether or not the Switch is the proper foundation for that is in doubt. All 3 consoles are pretty much off-the-shelf hardware.

But the problem becomes the size. You're either an Ouya or a console. Phones are getting absurdly powerful but we're not there yet. Nobody wants a $900 console.

With respect to Bluetooth, I want to get something across.

Bluetooth 5.1 still cannot do high quality, low latency, simultaneous voice and stereo sound.

But somehow Sony got this right on the first try with the PS4 by using a custom protocol.
