He didn't have a whole lot of symptoms though.

You don't send mental health crisis teams to everything, you send them to situations where someone is clearly distressed or in some way mentally disordered, but without significant threat of violence.
It's probably only a small percentage of emergency calls that would be appropriate. Maybe 10%?
There are also some specific things like domestic violence where it might be helpful for a crisis team to go, but they shouldn't go alone into that.

This. De-escalation goes out the window when there is someone literally brandishing and swinging a knife at someone at short range. Non-lethal weapons like Taser are not reliable enough in a situation like that either.

The depth was present in those games for sure. Of course there were a bunch of "first-order optimal strategies" that were quite effective and very easy. The second and third games had quite a lot there if you were looking for it.

Like most people, I never went that far into it.

I really liked the game. That, Spiderman and HZD are probably my favourites of the PS4.
Very smooth. Great world design and aesthetic. Some of the best sound in any game I've ever played.
I thought the combat was fine, but not excellent. The depth probably isn't there compared to the previous entries, but as someone who is more superficial about these games it worked better for me overall.
The story was good except for the later few hours and "final boss", which I thought dragged out and were disappointing. The ending itself and epilogue part was good though.

How'd you feel about the dark elf boss? I'll always remember that guy as being a real shitter on my first playthrough (which was on Give me a Challenge).

Yeah I remember that realm being the hardest part of the game for me, with the exception of one or two of the Valkyrie fights, because I was still getting the hang of things.

EDIT: Also, I agree with upgrading Atreus as much as possible when available. His arrows are just great and make a lot of fights easier.

I just get antsy when people misunderstand/misuse medical terminology in an authoratative way. Like when you said "sudden cardiac arrest" is called a heart attack.

If the oxygen saturation in your blood is 98%, you can't then have any more than 2% of CO.

This isn't actually true, depending on how you measure oxygen saturation. CO has a higher affinity for haemoglobin than oxygen does, and pulse oximeters will read haemoglobin bound to either gas as being saturated (CO poisoning gives falsely high readings)

Of course if you're using a proper gas analyser on a blood sample rather than measuring directly on the patient, this can measurement issue can be avoided.

Point 1 is pedantic nitpicking. All deaths involve a cardiac arrest.
Point 2 and 3 are the things that irked me the most when watching the initial video last year. Beyond the sloppiness and excess of their restraint, it was the headstrong refusal to make any kind of welfare check on the dude until way too late that rubbed me so wrong.

Cardiologist just destroyed the defense's line of questioning about people being put in the prone position in the ICU. In that situation, they're always on a ventilator to make sure the amount of oxygen they're receiving is enough.

As someone who has personally proned people in the ICU, the thought of someone even making the comparison here is laughable.

Well everything is a contributor to death. His smoking probably also in some way hurt him at that moment. If he wasn't in drugs and didn't smoke and didn't get COVID-19 maybe he'd have lived 10 seconds longer? Who knows. It's clear that the thing that killed him is being choked to death. The fentanyl didn't help but it's not like he'd have lived if it wasn't there.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if he survived regardless of the presence of the drug. Hypoventilation was the issue, because he couldn't inhale.

So Dr. Andrew Baker, who did the autopsy on George Floyd last year, considers the drugs in Floyd's system contributory factors in Floyd's death. However, he still stands by his initial assessment that the manner or cause of George Floyd's death was a homicide as a result of the actions of law enforcement.

This is basically how I read the situation when the initial port mortem was released. Fentanyl will have predisposed him to having a slightly lower respiratory drive, but his manner of death was nowhere near what happens when someone dies of a fentanyl overdose.

You should never blame someone for someone else's suicide unless:

1) They have a long, pervasive and documented history of psychologically tormenting the individual

or

2) They literally goaded the person into doing it

The only "crime" (if you can call it that) for which she's guilty is cheating on him. That's extremely common and, while a douche thing to do, cheating on someone doesn't suddenly make you complicit with suicide. It's not like she should've thought "I better not do this, because what if he finds out on the same day he loses his job and has a breakdown?"

Otherwise, you get situations that I see relatively often - where a mentally unstable person will threaten suicide whenever their boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse tries to leave the relationship, guilting them into staying into it.

Destroying her life doesn't bring him back.

As others have said, though, it's not the time and place to be telling TC to not be mad. I've had to tell best friends that their friend is dead over similar situations, and they have a right to feel this way.

That Finland song by Blind Channel is a strong genre piece of early 2000-s rap-rock. Definitely some Linkin Park influence there. Some other bands that came to mind were Papa Roach, P.O.D., Skillet, maybe HIM.

Stop trying to act like you know more than the expert in their field.

This is basically the essence of internet forums tbh.

If the other ones have already erupted fully, they're probably at no higher risk than the rest of your mouth, as long as you can get back there to clean them properly.
Any that are unerupted are potentially going to cause trouble later in life, so it's better to get them all out at once if they need to come out (and it sounds like at least one of them does)
