Humans have managed to create some amino acids from basic substances through the Miller-Urey experiment. I wouldn't be in favor of it for the animals' sake. Uplifted animals might feel discriminated by humans who may consider them "unnatural". Climate change, war, hate, etc...Yeah, humans do and say terrible things, I agree. But on the other hand, despite their faults, I still like humans. I don't agree with the idea that another animal species on Earth is better than humans. I also think that hating humans - misanthropy - is a common belief and I just think that's way too overboard.
