The animations and sprite work in that Deedlit game are superior to any IGAvania imo, I just watched a play through of it on Saturday actually.

I posted about excitement in a topic made by MarthGoomba, I havent asked Bleak if she was getting it yet actually but Im sure she knew about it. Finally have some time and motivation to play more today. Love the visuals for sure and gameplay greatly reminds me of the GBA / DS Castlevania titles. The dodge is also just so good, and its amazingly fun to dive away from attacks in mid air. Changing directions is also instant which is nice in these types of games and the animation canceling is top notch.
