Isn't that what bug reports are? It's not like the end user would have any say on how to fix it, just that they expected better functionality than they got.

It was a standing treaty from 100 years before. I'm not sure what the out-clause would have been.

SUPPOSEDLY China would not have interfered in the affairs of Hong Kong for 50 years after the cutover but this is China we're talking about, they're only beholden to themselves and make it well known.

China went through its communist reform in the 50s, I think, so I would have used that as writing on the wall of where they were headed but I guess the UK didn't want to butt heads with such a large country. Truly a shame.

My mother was always worried when we lived in Hong Kong that you could just be sent to China, even though it was British-controlled at the time.

The present climate has definitely brought that to the forefront. Id say we made the right decision to leave, although I have no sense of Chinese culture anymore.

I said it's not as important as actually getting money out to those who are depending on it. She was just unhappy that it didn't come across the way Biden made it sound initially. It's still vitally necessary.

She was voicing the sentiment that "$2000 means $2000, not $2000 across two different stimuli". She thought Biden was twisting his words coming off the campaign trail.

But it's also a minor quibble when it comes to getting funds to people who need them so looking at it like that, I could see her still voting to see it happen, even if she feels it's a "flexible" interpretation of a campaign promise.

Fun fact, baby clothes don't actually matter as long as they keep the newborn warm, and whether or not there's gender associated with toys for newborns make zero difference. The genitals don't matter for someone who has yet to develop any sense of object permanence.

Gender-specific stuff is more for the satisfaction of the parents who want people to know what gender their kid is before they grow out defining features. Doesn't make a difference to a baby.

Actually, CEman, this topic was made because I'm watching a documentary on Henry VIII and the Tudors and a lot of what they're saying is pretty outdated thinking. I was pondering on what sort of liberties would be okay to make if you wanted to make the story more palatable to a casual audience if you were to dramatize it.

I have a sinking suspicion that Skate 4 is going to get spiked when EA realizes the demand was only a flash in the pan and people aren't hyped enough to actually go out and preorder it.
