| Aelia 04/13/21 8:54:59 PM #20 | World War Z, the book, touched on this. In a chapter about the The Battle of Yonkers, the military, using good tactics, was simply overwhelmed. There was just not enough ammo. NYC has what? 8 million people? Lets say only a quarter of those people become zombies, just for argument sake. Theres two million zombies now running around New York, growing exponentially. Does the military have access to 2 million rounds of ammo? Probably, but is every round a perfect headshot? I doubt it. Fear spreads as quick as the disease. Obviously I missed 90% of the arguments made for why the military simply couldnt keep up, but the ammo one made the most sense to me at the time and that is why I remember it. --- En Taro Tassadar |
