https://www.insider.com/viral-video-madden-buckkerz-twitch-scream-baby-breaks-controller-2021-1

In the clip, Buckkerz (whose legal name hasn't been confirmed by Insider) can be seen playing "Madden 21" with his toddler son on his lap. After having his in-game throw intercepted, the streamer yells "god dam---" as he throws his controller down, breaking it. "F---ing $300 f---ing controller" he yells as the young child screams on camera.
"I'm about to go before I lose it," he says, placing the child down in a chair before screaming directly in its face "shut the f--- up!" His webcam then disappears and the stream cuts off.

I haven't brought myself to watch the clip yet; just thinking about it makes me livid. Fortunately, this guy has gotten a ton of backlash, and the mom found out and kicked the dad out of the house (she was at work when it happened).

Some progressives are mad, because they want Biden to push for $2000, and not $1400.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/biden-sparks-backlash-progressives-covid-relief-proposal

"$2,000 means $2,000," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., told the Washington Post. "$2,000 does not mean $1,400." Ocasio-Cortez said Democrats should pass $2,000 stimulus checks in addition to the $600 payment from December, rather than increase it by $1,400.

For the first stimulus, there was a push for $2,000, not $600. But that was blocked, and only $600 was issued. Thus, the remainder is $1400, which will fill the original promise. Why the anger?

Instead, he sat with his family glued to the TV watching a violent mob of Trump supporters break down barricades surrounding the nations Capitol and storm the halls of Congress.

The 17-year-old couldnt believe what he saw. Reed, who is a youth political activist, visited Washington, D.C., in the fall of 2019 and walked the same hallowed halls that were being vandalized. He recently applied to a college near the Capitol with aspirations of going into politics.
But the riot dashed any excitement he had about that future. Instead, disappointment, sadness and then frustration set in as he spent time incessantly doom-scrolling for updates on social media".

He left without a word, and I saw him drive off (through a window down an aisle). Anyone with half a brain would know you need to wear a mask when going out. Apparently Britain and France have the same sentiments. So while it's easy to jump on the "Americans are idiots" train, the fact that other parts of the world are just as ignorant, really shows how the world is trying to bury the Holocaust.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jan/27/one-in-20-britons-does-not-believe-holocaust-happened

"One in 20 British adults do not believe the Holocaust happened, and 8% say that the scale of the genocide has been exaggerated, according to a poll marking Holocaust Memorial Day.
Almost half of those questioned said they did not know how many Jews were murdered in the Holocaust, and one in five grossly underestimated the number, saying that fewer than two million were killed. At least six million Jews died.
The poll, commissioned by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, a charity established and funded by the UK government to promote and support the international day of remembrance, echoes the findings of a survey carried out in seven European countries in November."

This is a ridiculous question on paper, but let me explain. As we all know, social distancing has become a norm in society. In other words, he gets mad when he sees people passing by each other with their shopping carts, because they are not six feet apart. When grocery shopping, he gets refuses to pass by people. In other words, if my friend is going down the aisle with his cart, and someone is coming down the same aisle on the opposite end, he will turn around and go another way. Also, everyone is wearing masks. Can you still get covid just by passing by someone (with a mask) and a shopping cart, in a crowded store?

...Wait. You think the "media" is downplaying the story due to bias? Are you fucking shitting me? How far left do you have to be to think CNN and those types are alt right pawns? Damn son.

@Grischnak Up, until more recently, Jacob Blake's shooting had been downplayed, because of the way the media frames stories. When Blake's story first came out it was basically framed as, "White cop attempts to murder black man innocent in cold blood". Where the heck have you been over the past two weeks? The stories at first didn't say *anything* about the fact that he resisted arrest, which is exactly why riots and outrage broke out. If you don't think the media can frame stories around to fit their own agenda, then you are actually delusional.

Also, way to dodge any accountability on your part; instead of addressing the fact that you called me absurd for thinking that Blake didn't resist arrest, or the fact that you dodge the fact that Jake was shot *seven* times, you take one part you don't like (my argument about media bias), and spin in into so, "LUL, you're so far left" narrative. Damn son; thanks for letting me know the kind of person that you really are.

As for your equally absurd assertion that he didn't resist arrest, his own attorney admits that he did. So...yeah. Good talk.

@Grischnak Absurd assertion? Funny you say that, because I actually had been doing my research on the Jacob Blake story. And up until sometime after you made this post, I couldn't find any clear articles/stories about him resisting arrest. Most of the stories I've read talked about multiple sides/perspectives. But as of typing this, I just recently just found a story which does in fact, show that he resisted arrest side.

https://kvia.com/news/us-world/2020/09/04/after-jacob-blake-woke-up-following-his-shooting-he-had-a-question-for-his-father/

Also, apparently him resisting arrest didn't take into account cam footage of police beating him.

"When they say that Mr. Blake initiated the physicality (and) Mr. Blake put an officer in a headlock that does not comport with the video from the passengers side of the car that shows police essentially beating him, Salvi told CNN".

Now of course, that doesn't change the fact that he resisted arrest. I'm just saying that overall, I think it's clear that the media wants to frame stories in a different manner and sometimes hide the truth. But yeah; go ahead and call me mistakenly saying that he didn't resist arrest, due to the media bias framing a different side of the story an "absurd assertion" of mine. So yeah...good talk buddy.

Also, I still stand by my stance that he shouldn't have been shot 7 times. Resisting arrest is not a crime punishable by lethal force.

I don't know what your old man taught you growing up but mine taught me that if I'm getting arrested don't fight with the cops. Because it's a no win situation. There is no possible good outcome that can come from resisting arrest. Yet dumbasses keep doing it and acting surprised when shit goes sideways.

Where does it say he resisted arrested? One story says he reached into the car and got shot. Another says he put a cop into a headlock during an altercation (which I don't buy). Anyone would be shot dead before getting that close to a cop with intended threat.

Two things here....

1. Didn't they find a knife in the floorboard of his car? Like he was actually reaching in for a knife?
2. Most people who fire a gun in a stressful situation almost NEVER fire one shot. It's always multiple shots. Always. And realistically, one shot from a handgun doesn't always stop or even deter an amped up criminal anyway. So I wish people would stop reading into the "7 shots." If the purpose of firing is to kill an attacker then 7 shots are no morally worse than 1 shot. Right?

@BeyondWalls There have been plenty of times where cops fired a shot in stressful situations. You're just looking for an easy way to push the "Oh, cops get scared and nervous, so it's understandable" narrative.

What are your "new reports?" The police were there because he'd just robbed a woman. He told the police he had a gun in his car, that he was going to go get the gun in his car, and when he did so, the police shot him. If that's not a justified shooting, what's the point of having police in the first place?

@Fuparulez The police were there because he had robbed a woman? Where are you getting this? As for me, here's an article that talks about three sides.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/family-investigators-police-offer-starkly-views-jacob-blake/story?id=72675684

Investigator's side - "The shooting occurred just after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, when Kenosha police officers responded to a reported domestic incident after a woman called saying, "Her boyfriend was present and was not supposed to be on the premises," according to the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, which is investigating the shooting. The woman has not been identified.

MORE: ACLU calls for Kenosha police chief and sheriff to resign in wake of Jacob Blake shooting
Once on the scene, officers said they tried to arrest Blake and deployed a Taser in an unsuccessful attempt to detain him, the department said. Investigators said Blake walked to his vehicle, "opened the driver's side door, and leaned forward," before Kenosha Officer Rusten Sheskey fired seven shots into Blake's back, according to the agency. No other officer fired their weapon. Investigators have not explained why officers moved to arrest Blake or why Sheskey fired so many times.
The agency said Blake told authorities that he had a knife in his possession. Investigators later recovered a knife from the driver's side floorboard of Blake's vehicle. The Wisconsin DOJ has not said whether Blake was holding that knife during his interaction with police."

Fiance's side - ""They didn't even know the kids were in the car, and I'm telling the woman cop, 'Can you please?' She said, 'Get back before I shoot you,' I'm like, 'Shoot me? My kids are in the car,'" Brooks said.
Referring to Blake's being shot, Brooks added, "It wasn't just one shot -- 'Let me just put you down for a little bit.' That man just literally grabbed him by his shirt and looked the other [expletive] way and was just shooting him with the kids in the back screaming. Screaming! While I'm trying to fight this woman cop, saying, 'Let me get my kids out the car.' Her telling me no, they're handling it."
Booker told WISN she never called police and wasn't sure why they were there. She said her fianc wasn't armed and didn't own any guns or weapons.
"It doesn't make sense to treat someone like that," Booker told WISN."

Police side - "Wisconsin DOJ has previously said that officers were dispatched due to a call from a woman saying her boyfriend was not supposed to be on the premises.
There is an open warrant for Blake's arrest on sexual charges, although it has not been made public against whom. Matthews said officers were aware of the warrant before they arrived at the location. They said Blake was not breaking up a fight between two females as neighbors and family have said.
Matthews contends the silver SUV seen in the video is not Blake's car and that Blake was actually holding the knife in the video where he rounds the front of the car. He said Blake put one of the officers in a headlock at one point during an altercation."

Where in any of these sides does it say that Jake said that he was reaching into his car to take out a gun? And even if he was causing trouble, that doesn't justify shooting someone in the back 7 times. You know good and well that if it was a white person, that would not have happened.

Was having a discussion on an online forum about BLM and Jacob Blake. Two people jumped in and said that Jacob was shot seven times, because he was constantly told to stop, not because of the color of his skin. I argued back saying that reaching into your car shouldn't be a means of a death sentence and that if it was a white person, they wouldn't have been shot seven times. They disagreed and believe that the exact same thing would have happened to a white person. I even linked official new reports on the story and what happened, but the ignored it said that it doesn't count. One guy even started sucking up to the other guy insulting me to try and strengthen his argument.

Anyways, was Jacob Blake's shooting justified?
