It's the Senate's job to determine if the nominee is acceptable. The Senate ceded their right to question him. Obama should've just put him on the damn court and told Mitch, "you're free to do your job and have a hearing with him, if you feel like it."
He let them steal the seat from him and set a horrible precedent for the future.

Biden is very good at convincing senators to vote for things, the ACA would absolutely not have passed if not for him being part of the administration

Sanders has been in politics almost all his life, yet failed basic political questions that even Ben Carson was able to answer. We got on Gary Johnson for his Aleppo Moment, but Sanders was nothing but Aleppo moments. Bernie Sanders was probably the worst candidate running in 2016, and that's saying a lot.
