Then she dropped the whole thing on me. Saying im the first person to sign the paperwork and blah blah blah. The whole time im thinking about the meeting. Really bad timing on her part and stupid decision to sign without thinking about it. Would the promotion have only brought you up to 15.50 if you hadnt already gotten the raise? I just got a dollar to put me at 15. Im not sure what this promotion would have put me at had i not gotten the previous dollar. I should contact her and talk to her about it more. | Whitemike20052 12/31/20 11:37:49 AM #1 | I just got a raise. From $14 to $15 because i just made a year in the company. Now I just got promoted and the position is supposed to pay $16.50 in total. The books/payroll lady is saying I have to work 90 days first @ $15.25 then i get the $16.50 im supposed to. Is this legal? Im going to be doing the job for 3 months unless i mess it up.
