I played the remaster of 1 last year, it was ok. There are a lot of little changes, there's an option for increased draw distance, and I think everything is faster. The problem is that certain enemies can be set to respawn a certain number of times. On some levels basically no enemies respawn, on others it's most of them, and it only takes around 30 seconds. On the later levels I just started running past them because there's no point to fighting them.

I didn't know they were doing Shockwave and stuff too. Did they manage to get many of those games? I remember trying to look some of them up earlier this year and I couldn't even find screenshots of them.

It's four new short stories with new characters, a ninja, an oni, a nekomata, and a peasant. It has a better translation, too.

About three weeks after their disappearance, an anonymous caller made a series of calls over three days where he said he knows where the boys are, that he hurt them, and then that they were all dead. That caller was never heard from again. The reason I think that's noteworthy is that this arguably lines up with Ted's death; although most national sources quote the timeline of his death at something like 8-13 weeks after their disappearance, the comment according to local sources said around 4 weeks.

What's the source of that?

They fucked up some of the mission triggers and balance, particularly defense ones in Reign of Chaos. I don't know if they ever fixed them.

It worked fine for me for months, and now it will sometimes just not want to load pictures. I wanted to give Microsoft credit for making it better than the one in 7, but this seems to be a really common problem.
