It's too bad Marvel doesn't have its own connected animated universe.

The DC animated movies (while not always great) certainly excel in a lot of ways. Much better than their recent live action crap like Wonder Woman 1984.

However, it's funny how Marvel is better in the live action department and yet a lot of their recent animated stuff has been shit. Garbage like Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man and that lame Marvel's Spider-Man cartoon. Oh, and that shitty Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon.

DC excels way more in the animation department than it does in live action.

Is there ever truly a point in time where a movie has been out long enough, that talking about spoilers no longer matters? Obviously not when a movie first comes out, but what if it's been out for over a decade? Or even two decades.

I say that because one time on a message board...well actually it was on *this* website, I got a warning because I mentioned Mufasa's death in The Lion King without using spoiler tags while discussing the movie. With someone even telling me that "it doesn't matter how old The Lion King is and that it's a major part of the movie".

b****, everyone and their grandma knows about that scene! I get wanting to watch a movie without knowing anything, but it's like everything nowadays is considered a "spoiler" no matter what it is. What's next, is Darth Vader being Luke's father still considered a spoiler despite being a meme in pop culture now? Rant over, lol.

After being healed by Dende, Vegeta got a huge power-up but was still no match Frieza at all. Even base Goku was ahead of Vegeta and put up a better fight against Frieza.

People thinking that every little thing is a spoiler nowadays is absurd. You can't even talk about any movie/TV show/video game that someone hasn't seen (no matter how old it is) because of this "NO SPOILERS" rule in society. I once got in trouble on a message board because I casually mentioned Mufasa's death without using spoiler tags.

I mean, even the Russo Brothers (directors of Infinity War and Endgame) said about a year ago that spoilers for *those* two movies are now fair-game, and Infinity War and Endgame are only 1 to 2 years old. So even Word of God basically said "spoiler talk for those movies is now open even if they're still recent".

Of course people have the right to enjoy entertainment however they want, and I would never go out of my way to ruin a twist or surprise for anyone. But there's a difference between not wanting to be spoiled and just being ridiculous about it.

I haven't been in one, but I was watching a clip the other day from Megas XLR and it got me thinking.

Has anyone here ever been in an eating contest, and if so, what was it like? How far did you get? I'm guessing eating contests can really f*** you up if you don't prepare properly and that it's not exactly the healthiest thing to do either. Heck, I bet just preparing is bad enough. I bet many competitors have had some sleepless nights afterwards, not to mention spending hours on the toilet.

Has anyone here played the fan-game Mega Man Unlimited? While it definitely has some good ideas, the game is nearly unplayable because of the difficulty. They did add an "easy mode" but even Normal mode is too hard.

I know Mega Man games are known for their difficulty, but Unlimited misses the mark and it feels like they were trying too hard to make it as brutal as possible.

The acting was awful and the movie felt lifeless. It's like someone at Disney took a DVD copy of the animated Mulan and sucked the soul and fun out of it.

Varrick really got overused. He was fine in Season 2 and 3, but by the time he appeared in Season 4? Enough already. Also, his treatment of Zhu Li wasn't funny at all. I'm surprised she put up with his garbage for so long.

This episode has post-movie material written all over it. Especially with how Patrick starts taking the whole thing too far and making fun of Spongebob. Not to mention the whole insanity of the plot, with Janet and Marty not being Patrick's real parents.

If the episode never existed in 2001 and was made and produced in 2006-2007, no one would even know the difference.

Steven Universe Angst

Even for being part of a show with an eleven minute format, the episodes felt even more crunched down than in the original series. I know Future was supposed to be a limited series, but the pacing was wack and the finale was very rushed and unresolved.

Imagine if Steven turned back into that pink monster while traveling out of town, lol. Considering that we never learn what it was and he wasn't really "cured" from it.

Was anyone else disappointed with Future?
