You know, I might have to relax the requirement on interacting with each other in the story, because otherwise I'd have to throw out the Evil Ex-Boyfriends from the Scott Pilgrim game. I guess just implied interactions are fine.

Thats good since they dont interact much but does Beastector from Mischief Makers coun lr number wise? Emperor Leo is their boss, kind of making him one? Otherwise its just three. But they are the best boss squad ever imo...

The craziest thing is watching these fanboys defend the game causing seizures. Like to the point they are actively opposed to fixing the issue.

It's especially weird since the review I saw quoted seemed to be saying "good game they should fix this potential seizure issue because I'm still playing it even though I might get a seizure" and the company said "oops, we'll fix that seizure thing"

The earlier elements of the Sonic franchise are just as "focus group cool" as Shadow, but we were all younger when they came out, and are blinded by nostalgia.

My hot response: The biggest issue is just that there are too many extra characters that don't add much. The first "Sonic but evil" was plenty. Shadow is before it went too far imo.

This sounds like the winner to me. The Lego Batman movie and games like that worked great with the voice acting, but the old school ones I played like the first Star Wars one, a lot of the charm was "The scenes you remember but sillier because it's Lego"- if they had to use clips and keep it less silly that sounds like a flaw.

But the literal dictionary definition of blind includes

• (of an action, especially a test or experiment) done without being able to see or without being in possession of certain information.
• "a blind tasting of eight wines"

Im one of the first to be against hate speech but this isnt a comment about blindness the condition at all. Its not derogatory or insulting! I can live with it, sure, but this just feels like people who arent very literate not understanding words have multiple meanings.

It will be a difficult transition, but Im basically saying commercials need to become targeted advertisements to the audience of the specific shows that are airing; maybe a minisode with cast members, a trailer with an ad on it etc.

You cant just slap a Toyota commercial on every show anymore, but on a racing or car modification show? Yeah, and make it a short segment of the guys from the car mod show modding a Toyota. See?

Geico and al their weird ass shorts with cavemen and pinnochio are ahead of the game. They even had a campaign where people could vote on which goofy ad characters reappeared in the next commercials, and people voted. I bet at least 45% of us watched a geico commercial on purpose before. Because reviewing on YouTube and stuff is going to be the major market for these; tv once or twice to get the word out, then voluntary consumer views.

People think they hate advertisements but thats because they find ads a boring interruption. They need to create ads that are like mini independent films. Get names like Stephen King and a Steven Spielberg attached, use the stars from the prime time shows that youre already watching etc.

Think of how many people watch the Super Bowl for the ads.

Im not going to say there arent people who wont hate all ads ever, but what people hate most is feeling interrupted. Example; People love the post credits scenes in Marvel movies but arent they basically a teaser ad for the next MCU film?

People like and will pay money to downlaod crossover characters in a fighting game... but those are also essentially playable advertisements for the game they came from.

Straight up its because he hasnt had a genuine hit with 3D technology.

Sonic Adventure was fine. It was an imperfect but exciting step into 3d, like its contemporaries.

But they never made a better Sonic 3D game; hate on 06 for not following up on the promise of a modern 3D Sonic game, dont hate Adventure for being good but dated. Hate 06 for looking like warmed over garbage compared to its contemporaries.

No, the Sonic Adventure games were never great. They were decent at best, and even then they were full of flaws.

Of course they were full of flaws. All the first 3D platformers were. For Sonic Adventure and Mario 64 etc they were excusable flaws as everyone tried to figure out what 3D platforming would even be. We appreciated the huge leaps it made without sacrificing what we considered Sonic quality back then and appreciated the new things it gave us like a real 3D playworld. Its only the lack of improvement beyond that thats the issue.

Playing it now those issues stand out more because other franchises have developed fixes over the years while Sonic hasnt. Selling points of Sonic Adventure back then are things you dont notice because you expect them. The first house with a door was probably like shit this is awesome, it keeps stuff out and I can open and close it! But now we al expect doors on our homes.

Mario 64 seems somewhat clunky today as you can see from the people playing that collection, but we forgive it because Mario in 3D has evolved. That first 3D leap for Sonic went pretty smoothly, but since Sega hasnt known where to go form there ever since it doesnt fare as well in our minds. But it was an amazing start for 3D Sonic, he just hasnt evolved any.
