excellent lmao. This self-referential song definitely got me thinking when I was young.

ill nominate Goodnight Song by Tears For Fears. Nobody knows it but its one of my favorite songs ever and its the only one I know that seems to fit the bill here. But as with some other famous self-referential songs (Monster Mash!) its not completely clear if its actually self-referential or if its just a song about some other song weve never heard before...

blue discs are CDs instead of DVDs; typically these were kinda low quality 3rd-party games from the early days of the console, so I dont know if there are any gems youre missing out on.

I assume you have a fat PS2, they had this problem because they used different laser hardware to read CDs and DVDs. Whereas slims used the same hardware regardless of disc type, so they dont have this issue of being able to read one but not the other. (I think thats how it goes at least.)

I have an OG 360 (not launch; maybe bought 2009) and I played the hell out of it and it still works great. Guess they fixed RROD by then.

OG Xbox just doesnt read discs. Lame. Didnt even play it much. Shitty disc drive, apparently its the Thomson disc drive after some research, since they whored its production out to a bunch of companies.

my PS2s are all over the place! Ive bought a bunch over the years! Fat ones cant read CDs (PS2 or PS1), finally they both wont read DVDs either; a black slim wont even spin the disc (apparently thats because it thinks the rear lid sensor is open, and I tried to fix that with gorilla glue and a corner of a credit card; failed apparently). Lots of issues with these surprisingly!

Wii eventually couldnt read dual-layer discs.

N64s all take cartridge blowing, no problem really.

its my SNES that holds up shockingly well. I can turn on almost any game any time, no cartridge blowing, perfect results. Shocking to me.

ugh I know. Imo that type of extremism is divisive not only to the country, but to individual parties themselves. thanks to how extreme the progressive left has become, it leaves the impression that theres some free real estate to be claimed with moderate-leftist views. Dems really should have gone for that approach instead of letting themselves be seen as ONLY progressive.

really, what was the dem approach to getting the independent vote this time around? Have an old white male candidate and just hope trump is that repulsive to people? Thats a rather passive approach.

basically everything you said in this thread! His game content might not be LOL funny to me anymore, but I still enjoy it plenty and I just really respect the hell out of the guy for the presence hes been as an internet entertainer. Makes me happy to see his videos getting so many views still.

regarding the poll... Great music in this game! But Escape from the City has to take it. That level PLUS its song define the game. It would be a substantially worse game without that combination. And how often does an action/platform game succeed that strongly with a song that has lyrics? I dont think Ive seen it before or since. Bold and it worked to perfection.

Honorable mention for song: Rumbling HWY, which plays on mission street (part of why I chose mission street for the stage vote). The end of the main loop is so fucking satisfying, it makes the buildup worth it. Really gorgeous song.
