Goku should've been taking the medicine. He was slated to die before the androids show up, but he was fine up till he started fighting; so he likely took some, thought it worked out and maybe stopped (or not).

why not just wish for heart attack to go away
Why waste a wish when they expected the medicine to do that for them?

I primarily stayed the same weight since HS, I was mostly almost 90kg 10 years ago.
Thankfully, while making minor changes I'm under 79kg. I still eat what I want but I'm way more active daily

No gore though.

Wasn't it the first NSMB on wii where the first Bowser fight had him fall in lava and his skin melted away to become Dry Bowser?

There are different kinds of addictions I think.

I used to some for migraines and they made me feel better. In the future, whenever mild pain came up my first thought of 'I'll take more to do away with it' came to mind even when it wasn't necessary.

So even if you don't get shivers or do drastic things to get a hold of them like media portrays, just the idea of immediately thinking of relying on it is a kind of 'addiction'. I kicked those feelings and I don't need them now.
