This is grim but it really depends on who specifically was killed. If a random unknown house member was killed there would've been a bit more outrage and maybe less of people trying to contest the election later that night. If Romney or Cruz or any republican senator was killed, then 25th would've probably been invoked and most would be willing to impeach by now probably. If any of Mcconnell, Pence or Nancy was killed whew lord there would've been so much hell to pay. If most of congress was hobbled? That's a completely different world altogether. We'd probably still be in the middle of massive civil unrest. --- |
