Not completely untrained though. I would just say that deadlifts are untrained in comparison to other lifts. They've only been a part of my routine for little over a year. I do weigh about 250lbs as well, and as a reference, my bench 1 rep max was last recorded at 345. That deadlift is low compared to expected numbers for someone with my stats.

I'm probably going to complain about this hypertrophy routine until I switch to something else...

Today had deadlifts and incline bench as my focal lifts. I've been lifting for years but I'm practically untrained in deadlift when compared to other movements. During my warm up, I hit an all-time best of 325. Then I dropped down to 195 for the work sets. I exceeded my target rep count for my first time so that's an accomplishment.

On incline, my sets were run at 145. I hit the target reps for my first time on that lift. I think I'm finally adjusting to the high reps involved. Finished with back and biceps work and left after about an hour and 15 minutes.

I'm really getting tired of closing my Monday with squats. Even though I arrive at the gym right as it opens, other people rush to the squat racks, and I have to wait for ages to get one. I feel drained before I can even start.
