You isolate them diplomatically and economically.

1. Don't gut our military like lots of dumb people want to do.
2. Collective defense agreements with regional nations who are also threatened by China. Ideally, NATO would be expanded worldwide to all democratic nations.
3. Stop listening to economic illiterates like Trump and Bernie when it comes to free trade. Agreements like the TPP would have been both good for our economy and would work to isolate China. They are too big to confront unilaterally but if you create massive trade blocs without them they lose their bargaining power.

I agree it's possible. But how feasible is it for the western world to move trillions on dollars worth of supply chains out of China in a timely and effective manner? Sounds really far fetched to me, especially over the treatment of their own citizens when we seemingly aren't even doing it out out of our own common interest to do so

Cutting 10% from something as massive as the US military is definitly "gutting" funding

And I can almost promise you are advocating to redirect funding from national defense(something the federal government actually should be responsible for) towards subsidiary policies (something that they definitely shouldn't be) and not to just cutting spending across the board.
