Full details for the EZA are out and hes nuts. LR-tier stats, super stacks atk&def even after transformed, 100% dodge first turn after transformation, absurd passive stats. This is EZA VB tier

How is FF14 a mess? There are 4 clear final bosses.

Some of the patches muddy it I think. Like do you count Nidhogg or Elidibus? Because theyre kind of the final bosses of those arcs.

Final Boss is a weird one because its a little nebulous. Like, Birth of a God and OWA would both count in my mind for FF7 because theyre both unique to the final boss gauntlet. But like, Decisive Battle in FF5 wouldnt because its used in other fights with Exdeath, so only NeoExdeath would count there.

And then theres the mess of figuring out FF14.

Finally manage to build a 7-win deck. Only took 11 tries. Ended up with a pretty strong BG Elves deck with Realmwalker and Esika's Chariot.

Calling it a land destruction deck was perhaps a bit hyperbolic on my part, but yes, the opponent had the rare saga and two of the lands (that I saw) and was able to ramp into them pretty quickly.

Oh shoot, I didn't even consider FFXIV. Praetoreum, Aetherochemical Research Facility and Amaurot are all top tier final dungeon themes. Doma Castle and Qitana Ravel are both good regular ones, but The Twinning is probably the best.

Regular dungeon I think I'd go Find Your Way off the top of my head. Final dungeons are all very good. I have a soft spot for FFX-2's Abyss of the Farplane, so for the sake of picking something a bit more interesting I'll go with that.

Tried the greedy strategy and splashed for a few off-color bombs in my next draft. Get paired against someone playing a ton of land destruction. I could not have eyerolled any harder. I don't think my deck was that great either way, but come on.

Yeah, I just can't seem to get a handle on this format. I've put in 6 drafts so far and I haven't been able to pass 4 wins, with my overall record being under 50%. I don't know why it's tripping me up, I'm usually pretty quick to pick up new formats, but this one is just stumping me.

Question for people who are more experienced in limited that I am:

How do you play/think about hands that have say 3 lands but all in 1 color? Assume you have a typical 2-color deck. Also let's say that you can cast 2-3 of your spells on a decent curve even if you don't draw the other color of land since probably I'm going to mulligan a hand with like 3 Swamps and then 4 red cards. But in the case I described it seems very borderline and I just don't know what the play is. I hate keeping hands that only have 1 color of land but also mulligan-ing at all just feels really really bad to me in limited even if you mulligan into a good 6 card hand. (At least this type of limited. I suppose if I'm playing like MTGO vintage cube it's probably a different story)

Yes I am asking because I kept a hand like I just described above (ie. 3 Swamps, 3 black cards with cost 2-4, and a red card) and then drew red cards on each of the first 3 turns and was very sad, but I'm not especially convinced I made the wrong decision.

In the case you described I will almost always keep the hand. Youre describing a 6 card hand essentially with all playables, which isnt going to drastically improve by mulliganing. If its like 3 swamps and then a bunch of cards you cant play until turn 4-5, then yeah, Ill toss it back.

This set seems atrocious for sealed just because snow is immediately removed from viability in 90% of pools. The set seems extremely synergy focused so your sealed pools are going to be trash a lot of the time.

If Im looking at it from a personal perspective, Goku has more units Id be okay pulling. Anyone other than AGL Gohan, INT UI and Angel Frieza would be good for me.

On the Vegeta banner I dont really need any more copies of SSJ4 Vegeta or INT Cell, and I definitely do not want Hit, 17, or SSBE. Even Kefla I dont really need more copies of, though I wouldnt mind rainbowing her.

I mean, Im still pulling in both, but yeah.
