And I have tried three times since its release to get into Majora's Mask, and just can't. It should in theory be one of my favorites since I love nonlinearity and side quests, but the game is too nonlinear. It's not as cryptic as something like Simon's Quest, but I still have no idea what I'm doing. --- ...I think I'm done here... |

It doesn't immediately seem that bad as it's happening, but you slowly begin to realize - even after finishing it - how much it negatively affects the rest of game's plotline. You do three dungeons, then some kind of transformative event happens (usually obtaining the Master Sword), the world completely changes, then you do 5-6 more dungeons before the final lair. At the time it was mindblowing that you had a whole second world to explore.Same. I remember Nintendo Power and previews in general listed nothing about the Dark World.
