I always thought this was extremely cool, you're like, sneaking into this fortified building

I like grunty industries a lot mostly because it's not really like any other level in the series. the way parts of it are connected, the swaps between inside/outside, the elevators, things like that. it's way more interesting than the levels that are just big with a bunch of things spread in them (the mine, the circus, dinosaur land, cloud land... wait this is basically just every other stage)

lots of things in hades unlock by you doing other seemingly unrelated things. so I'd recommend just putting the various goodies you find into unlocking/buying/gifting/etc as much as you can and sometimes new stuff will just pop up

yeah just spend another 20 hours leveling a character because it's so much fun!!!

well... if you don't like playing the story (the leveling process), and you don't like playing maps (what comes after leveling), I think you might just not like the game? which is fine but then I'm not sure why you have such strong opinions on how it should be played

definitely agree on the item filter though, the game drops so much junk clogging the screen in enemy-dense areas

because path of exile punishes you drastically for it and leaves you with a bricked character and an inability to get the refund points or gear to fix it.

then you just make a new character for postgame once you have a better idea what's going on? I'm pretty sure anyone can at least get through the main game content if they have a moderate level of critical thinking and ability to read what their equipment/abilities do, even if they're not picking the most optimal thing at every point

there are consumables that reroll the socket colours on an item... or you could just wait a few levels and you'll probably pick up something new and stronger with different socket colours on it

I watched bit of a japanese speedrunning marathon where two people raced that game. The world record is around 25 minutes, they put their estimate for the marathon at iirc 45 minutes? and nearly 1.5 hours in they were still going and it wasn't even a race anymore they'd just stop to cheer on their "opponent" whenever it seemed like one of them was getting close to winning. tigger is like, 10% of this game's true power, when you've seen the final stage all the others look super simple in comparsion <_<

I swear I see people with no successful escapes but with like all the weapons unlocked and most of the mirror upgrades.

maybe they just took a lot of runs before they won? if you stick to the same weapon and don't raise the heat you can get a lot of gems which trade into keys for weapons/mirror and that's probably what someone who doesn't have their first clear yet would be doing so it sort of makes sense

also buy the fishing rod if you haven't already it pays for itself pretty much instantly

if a person has some views that align with each side (not as crazy as you might think) and one side does something they believe to be extreme, unnecessary, stupid, whatever you want to call it, they'll probably gravitate toward the other side

I'll also add that if you have some sort of occasional burst damage (a good supply of strong casts, a call, etc) you should make sure it's fully stocked when you get ttheseus down to half health. he pauses completely for a bit while he does his call and it's not that fartfetched to just spam everything you have into him at that point and kill him before he really gets to do anything in his stronger second phase

I had an issue with a Facebook seller where I couldnt buy a Pokmon XD disc from him because he had given me the incorrect bus route, and also didnt apologize for doing so. While I shouldve double checked the bus route beforehand, the fact that he didnt apologize for giving the wrong info implies he deliberately wasted my time on purpose (even though there is no evidence). I thought he wasnt very committed to selling especially since me and my buddy had difficulty y buying from a previous seller. My other friend said he doesnt deserve business if hes so picky lmao so I took my friends words out of context to mean the guy didnt deserve any cash and anyone who robs him should be arrested (but he doesnt deserve his game back). I posted on reddit all the events that happened and at the end, I linked the sellers item and said would anyone like to buy from him? Ill let you keep the game if you want and also feel free to scam him. I just want the game off his hands and in a better one. I didnt list other things such as the guys address or what steps to scam him, but later on I said I wouldnt be into scamming him if he had given the incorrect bus route. Everyone told him all about this. and he filed a police report on me. I don't think it's really any worse than CE in terms of userbase? That said I think the UI / structure of the site makes it difficult to have actual good longform communications so that's not really a point in its favour either

without knowing anything about how you play at all my guess is that if you're having a lot of trouble you're not dashing enough

this game is very buttonspammy mainly because having 2+ dashes with significant iframes on nearly no cooldown is.... sort of strong actually
