I know someone who overheard a prominent wrestler confess to a woman falling off a boat and dying and never going to the authorities... I think I remember who they said it was but I dont want to be wrong and incriminate the wrong person...

My parents are really anti-mask for no apparent reason. Like if a place requires them they will wear one but try to only go places that don't enforce it... although we have a state-wide mandate now (but then, some places don't really enforce it still).

My nephew and his girlfriend are always posting crazy things about how the mask is going to lead to mandated vaccines and the mark of the beast or something. I don't get it.

I think that's what I paid for it, although that was probably 20ish years ago, not sure if it had gone up much in value quite yet... although the SNES wasn't 100% dead yet so it probably was still a good deal.

Yeah I do think back to how much it was simpler and cheaper to rent--even with a low mortgage that is roughly the same as rent, you'll have a lot more upkeep costs etc.

Now of course you can rent nice places and rent houses, etc, but just going off of apartment rentals that I've lived in...

...it is really nice to have your own yard and driveway and garage etc, and really, really nice to not have shared walls or someone below you or above you. Sometimes I forget how much that could suck.

Got married at 24
Bought house at 29, but only a month before I turned 30... that was a close one!

Didnt have a kid until 35.

But yeah I dont think it really mattersif those arent things you want, thats fineif they and you havent been able to get there yet, keep trying I guess but dont obsess over it. I mean you can try to save up for a house, thats reasonable, but trying
to have a wife sounds weird.

No, he wouldn't trust a New Yorker to begin with, coupled with all the various cons and scams Trump has run... even ignoring anything said during the 2016 campaign. But I'm sure he'd not be big on his insults to McCain for being a POW, etc.

I can understand thinking 600 is too much, but 200 is too little.

400 seems good

Yeah the $600, while nice for people who get it and I wouldn't turn it down--just shows that politicians have no idea how much money that is, lol.

They really should address a way to get some back pay to everyone who was either working the entire time or only laid off briefly who were definitely not making unemployment +600 a week. A lot of those "essential workers" were at fast food places and stocking grocery shelves, they probably only make like half of what the people who could stay at home on unemployment were.

Yeah I don't think Bernie would ever have had much of a shot. Admittedly I'm in a pretty "red" area but even most democrats here want nothing to do with him.

But yeah, the pandemic mismanagement is what really tanked things. Not sure if he'd beat Biden or not, but it'd be much closer than it is now.

But hey, lots of dumb things can happen in three months, so don't count him out. :(

I dunno a little over 20k on cards, it was closer to 30 but we consolidated and redid our mortgage. About 7k left on a small loan.

Daughter had a lot of extra expenses in her first year or so. :( We are chipping away at it instead of it getting bigger but its a slow process.

Yeah, adults can do whatever and I don't really care. I would say in general at that age it's probably best to keep within a fairly close age, but there are exceptions and whatever.

My wife was 18 and I was 23 when we met. As a nonspecific statement I'd say that is pushing the age difference but obviously I am an exception to my own rules. >_>

I think most of the die hards that have always thought he was the most amazing guy ever in 2016 still feel the same way, but I know quite a few people in 2016 who were basically not really a fan, didn't vote for him in the primaries, but were republicans and had been preconditioned to hate Hillary since the 1990's, so kind of shrugged and figured he would say something dumb once in a while, but would have smart people around him and his actually policy would be okay.

He's lost most of those votes... >_>

Now, show me someone who says they didn't vote for Trump the first time but are voting for him now, and I'll show you a person who is lying off their ass.

I know one person who said he didn't trust Trump to do what he promised in 2016 so voted third party but is happy with him now and is supporting him. I don't know what it was he wanted accomplished exactly. >_>

I would think most people that age or older didnt really have the support group they may now via internet/social media, so they probably would be more likely to just try to ignore those thoughts as long as possible. Society has become a hair better about it now, and they can get more moral support or whatever, so they feel more capable of making the change.

yeah its a bummer those of us who were essential all along, and by now some who maybe had a few weeks off but have been back for a three months or whatever, just get their normal pay where people who are laid off are given MORE money.
