I would doubt very much that we have about half the player base on two players (in which the two leading lynch candidates aren't even voting each other) and both those players are scum.

Unless he's hopped up on pain meds or something.

I've moved to my desk so I could be on my computer. It is mildly uncomfortable but if I don't move to much I think I'll be good.

He did say this yes. He did a big catch up post but hasn't contributed much since.

I feel like that's a Death thing though. He'll make some comment or assertion but then follow that up with a caveat. I seem to remember him doing this a lot when he's town which is what I was alluding to earlier when I said I liked him. Admittedly I don't remember his scumplay very well.

No immediate revote of Han after pointing out your vote wasn't on him isn't good either. Especially after calling out others for voicing their approval of Lea's reasoning without a vote.

Sure. But the more plausible scenario is scum using a safelist claim.

Plum says the only way Kobe could be scum is if he was Godather. But a scum Chris wouldn't be using his real flavor, he'd be using a flavor from the safelist. So why would a town Plum assume that a scum Chris is using his real flavor?

What? Yeah of course but we have no way of knowing that. Chris just going "let's lynch this guy because I get powers if you do" tells me nothing of his alignment at this moment. If we get more information that changes my opinion on Chris's alignment.

Furthermore, Plum, you are assuming that Chris absolutely has to be Kobe. Kobe could easily be a fake claim from a scum safelist. This reads as if you know Chris is not lying about being Kobe.

I mean, it seems to be a pretty low stakes move to me. From a "Chris is scum" perspective, if red gets lynched and is town the suspicion would fall more on anyone who voted red because of Chris's "power" rather than Chris himself imo.

It means I got to a point where I realized I can't read anyone for shit, I can't argue my points for shit, I accept that I am by and far the worst player in any game at any given point, so why waste everyone's time running in circles making no sense whatsoever when I can just vote with the player I consider to be the best in the game and land on a proper lynch more often than I would if I tried thinking for myself.

I mean. Why sign up then? You're not really playing if you're playing like that.

But from an in game perspective, what if Chris is scum and you're town? You're basically just giving scum an extra team member here.

Red getting angry at IGCD for doing exactly what IGCD said he was going to do after it caused problems for him seems extremely close-minded and defensive. Makes me think town, to be frank.

Honestly between 21 players and covid forcing a lot of people to work from home, I was expecting more. But other than Boko and myself I don't know how many people are going into work so maybe you're right.

I am actually trending downward on everyone who did this earlier this evening. Its like the cheapest form of scum hunting. Like see I am posting things to sus people here are my reasons but its just nothing. Maybe if youre certain a player is unemployed and also has nothing to do during the day? I dont see how someone can legitimately read this game and think to themselves so close to the start that people are being lurking and need to be voted. Its not day 4.

Oh I wouldn't vote someone solely for inactivity. But when I went through the playerlist those were just some of the people that didn't feel all that present so far. Now generally I think it's pretty uncommon to have a completely active scum team. So I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least one scum in that list I posted. So while I'm not voting any of them, I would like there absences to be noticed and if their inactivity continues we might have a problem.

In regards to those people I've liked what you've posted so far which was why you're at the top of the list! IGCD is interesting.

Why Banana at the top of the townie list? Admittedly my list would look somewhat similar, IGCD at the top for scum and flip Boko and Banana. But that's not saying too much as I don't really have a favorable impression so far.

Man, I wish I could remember and a quick perusal of the archives didn't help. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you nailed me as scum Day 1 once. In a following game you did the same thing and got me lynched as town but I didn't suspect you for it but you ended up being scum. Perhaps I'm remembering a bit wrong and wasn't actually lynched Day 1 in those games but you definitely used "Han-gut" for my Day 1 play. I remember you being quite dogged in your attempts to lynch me too.

Partially but his statements and phrasing, if you will, remind me of his town play.

Like I said earlier, I tend to punt Day 1 a lot as I don't like working with unconfirmed information but well...it's 2020 and mafia isn't "srs business" to me anymore so fuck that let's just get in there and play.

Oh also, it's been awhile but I feel like Han has come out of the gate and voted for me in at least two other games so it's interesting that he's doing it again here. Do you happen to recall these instances, Han?

Sure. Death is my boy and probably town. This whole thing with you and the video feels pretty silly to me. Like I could pretty easily make the argument for you actually watching the video as either alignment. Once more information comes out it will be interesting to go back and see how that all went down.

Crescent is interesting to me as I know my playstyle and it definitely leans toward punting Day 1. So for her to say that in relation to me specifically, even if she says it wasn't meant that way, strikes me as a bit odd. Just something I wanted to note for later.

I'll have to reread the stuff with Ben/Crescent to get a better feel for that interaction as I kind of just caught up real quick on my lunch break.

But I mostly like playing in the moment so where's your head at so far?

To me it's not even really a defense. Plum makes no mention of DYL's alignment in that post so it's really just an observation. Could just as easily be seen as Plum trying to defend a town player who's an easy mislynch for scum. Possibly something to file away though if DYL does end up being scum.
