he was already on the ropes about crossing cobra kai. after breaking dimitri's arm, seeing him getting ganged up on was what it took to push him over. in that moment, he hesitated again. he wanted to help his friend, and he weighed that against cobra kai. for the first time in a while, cobra kai lost that battle. the puzzle pieces fit together fairly well.

there are a lot of people in love with his status, in love with his wealth, in love with his rhetoric

the kinds of people who are okay with his racism and sexism. if any other candidate in history had been on record saying 'grab her by the pussy' they would be toast. but not this guy.

he appealed to stupid people, and well... we have a lot of those here. biden's victory was not even as wide a gap as I was hoping it would be. nearly half the country still supported trump. after everything he's said, after every slip and every fuckup. every embarrassment to this once great country.

peer pressure, how does it work? hawk had an image to try and keep up. letting him sit at the table wasn't going to fly with anyone.

like i said, even if you feel it was justified, it was bullying. i also feel that it was justified, but he didn't do it to help his own situation or to try and help his friend. he just did it to humiliate him and try to remind him that he's a loser.

he did break his arm. but he didn't even want to do that. and he felt extremely bad about it, they made that pretty clear. he almost stayed back to help dimitri in that scene, but hesitated and ran off.

he also wasn't comfortable with his former bullies being in cobra kai, and he wasn't comfortable with kreese's utter lack of loyalty. he was not happy about kreese kicking his friends out of the dojo. the one he was closest to in cobra kai, miguel, didn't even want to go back to it. and there was that scene where dimitri called him out for getting dumped by moon because he was being a giant asshole. he looked like he heard that loud and clear.

his face turn was totally foreshadowed. what show were some of you guys watching

that scene where he spilled all on hawk and tried to embarrass him in front of the whole school was bullying. even if you feel it was justified.

meat is an extremely negative person. i agree that he was an even bigger douche than eli had been up till season 3.

season 2 dimitri deserved to get the shit kicked out of him. season 3 dimitri is doing much better.

no, that would be sam. even daniel almost called her out for it. regardless of how far things went, the school fight was pretty much entirely her fault. instead of owning up to any of it, she just kept making things worse.

the cop AI is definitely one of the worst things about the game

they spawn in out of nowhere right next to you when you're wanted. but if you manage to run a block away or run somewhere they can't spawn up all is forgiven. you can literally kill like six cops, ten civilians and steal a car to make your getaway and they're like "eh... whatever. dunno where he went. not my problem buddy"

it's especially stupid because the game goes out of its way to introduce and show you the dangers of max-tec or whatever they're called. forces you to sit and watch a squad of those guys take down some rioters early in the game. yeah, those guys don't show up even at the max wanted level.
