It had superior sound effects, but less superior picture quality from what i understand.

I remember the DVD-run; it was labelled as Sessions individually or the Perfect Sessions if you buy the complete set.

The issue is that there is fakes out there, and some have remix labelled on the bottom.

This doesnt just effect streaming music. Streaming music or in-game audio is honestly the least problematic. It doesnt just effect streaming in general.

The DMCA applies to any content on the internet that is being used without the correct rights of use, including copyrighted sound effects, thumbnail images using company assets (logos, character images, name of the game), alerts, emotes/emojis, other stream graphics.
This applies to the literal act of streaming. We have been given a blind eye from most companies to use this content the way we do, but that isnt a right. This permission can be changed or revoked at any moment. Nintendo is the worst about this, but have shown at their very arbitrary discretion, they will shut you down.

This idea doesnt stop with streaming, it is just the tip of content creation in general. It effects YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Some platforms have the rights to music to be used that wont transfer when the content is shared to a different platform (Im looking at you, TikTok)
DMCA applies to fan art, fan merch, TAGS, TITLES, and DESCRIPTIONS of any content you are sharing. This part isnt as well known in the stream world, but the art community is being torn down by overzealous third party companies issuing DMCA takedowns for their employers intellectual properties. If a piece of art, regardless of if its an original piece using characters the artist made up or fan art, if it uses the name of a copyrighted character in the title of the listing, in the description of the listing, in the tags of the listing it can be an infraction. And it isnt just on marketplaces either. People have had their entire Instagram accounts shut down, personal portfolio websites attacked.

There is nothing protecting creators on the internet. There is no precedent, there is no gold standard to follow. The law as it is, it is illegal for content creators to do what they do, streamers included. And we cant afford felony charges to assume we are in the good graces of a company and play their IPs in a favorable way so they dont arbitrarily decide to take action against us.

Doing a charity stream that a company decides they dont like you doing that with their game associated to it? DMCA takedown for using copyrighted character names in your title describing what game youre playing, or using their logo on the thumbnail. Hello, felony.
