Like computers have been a common thing for the last 35-40 years. My boomer coworkers in my office think I'm a computer whiz for knowing how to do basic stuff in Windows and Outlook. Sometimes they ask me a question that IT would actually have to answer/fix for them because I have no idea, and I get the impression that they think I'm being lazy and just not wanting to help them. |

I think I asked for things similar to Kaiji once and a ton of people said LG. Also been wanting to continue Kaiji past where the anime left off and check out some of that author's other works (Strongest Man Kurosawa, etc) For stuff I've read I admittedly haven't read much manga other than those that I read when I was first starting to study Japanese and needed reading practice. Yotsuba& was a really fun series. I also read Nisekoi all the way to what the latest chapter at the time was (as of like 2015) but I barely remember anything from it other than it being decently entertaining. I never watched its anime, either. |

As far as I can remember these are the only two games I've bought for people. In both cases I just wanted them to try out the games because I really like both and wanted to share them. The guy I bought Yakuza 0 for I think literally just watched the opening cutscene and turned it off, lol. I just bought other friend RE2 today so we'll see if he plays it. On the flip side the friend I bought Yakuza 0 for bought me Dungeon of the Endless and I never touched it so I guess I'm in no place to talk. |

It did seem that the majority of stuff I've personally looked up was above 7 though. Also, MAL has my account under lockdown. They had some security breach a while ago and I think mandated password changes. Despite remembering my old password, I just don't remember the email I used to make the account so I can't set a new one. They had like a ticket or appeal system and I tried a couple times explaining the situation but they still wouldn't give me access. I thought knowing the old password would be enough but I guess not. Not a huge deal but the account was over 10 years old so it was kind of a shame I lost it. I still haven't bothered making a new one but I made an "anime planet" account because I like making lists. But yeah sorry just had to air out my MAL beef. |

Anyway it has a "low" score on MAL (I think a bit under 7 which like barely anything does) so I am expecting a tragic ending that pissed people off. |
