Sad part is you pay attention to this. Nobody knows wtf you're talking about.

Except your literally the only person in this thread who apparently doesn't know who Leafy is.

But this was a long time coming, should have been much sooner.

31 years old and never had a drink, I just don't see the point. Just recently my friends coworker got drunk, got into an argument, and made up a very serious story to win the argument. The story got passed around the comminuty to where news stations and police wanted to talk to him. He then fessed up to making up the story to which he lost his job and all his friends stopped being his friend. I've seen too many stories of people ruining their lives while drunk, so I don't want to do that.

I know people say don't drink THAT much, but even a little and you can still do stupid things.

The experts say do this, do that, and we are still in this situation.

If people actually listened to the experts (and in the US, we have not for the most part) then we would not be in this situation, as evident by the rest of the world.

The idea I've seen is "today they force us to wear masks, tomorrow they force us to get vaccinated...". To which I personally say God I hope so.

Its about control, we give and inch and the government takes a mile. Back during the shutdowns I saw the argument of "now the government can force small businesses to close while keeping open the big businesses that give the government money." Also there's the argument that masks take away your freedom, which never made sense to me. Anytime freedom is talked about, it reminds me of the Jim Jeffries bit:

Are you using buff/debuff moves? In many RPGs they're usually pointless, but for the SMT/Persona series, they're basically mandatory.

Id rather actually play the video games than watch other people play them.

Would you though? Would you rather play through Sonic 06 rather than watch other people suffer through it?

I have never understood this argument because (as said many, many times in this topic), people watch mainly for the person, not the game. The person is an entertainer first and foremost, a video game player second, minus the cases of a pro player of that particular game. That's how the top twitch streamers get consistent viewership no matter what game they play.

Also they might not be able to play that game, like multiplayer games. I watched a stream/youtube video series of Dokapon Kingdom. I don't have friends who will play a 30+ hour RPG/boardgame with me, I don't even know if I'd have the patience to make it to the end, but I watched someone else and their friends play. That's not an experience I can replicate at home because everyone is different, my friends are not those friends, so it's basically like a whole new game. Everyone's playthrough of that game is completely different.

Outside of multiplayer games, solo story games still have moments where I'd like to see peoples reactions. Yes I've played the game, but how is that different from showing a friend a movie that you've already seen and watching it again with them? You like to see them getting happy over hype stuff in the story, mad at certain parts, maybe get emotional at sad parts, it's like watching it again through fresh eyes.

Solving parentheses first involves solving whats in front of it too.

Are you one of those people who think 2(4) is part of the parenthesis of PEMDAS and not multiplication? I hope not because those people don't understand math at all.

The answer is 16. Too many people take PEMDAS too literal and think that multiplication is before division. Yet you never get that confusion in equations with addition and subtraction. You never see people look at 8 - 4 + 2 and think the answer is 2 because they did 4 + 2 first. Everyone knows to go left to right even though PEMDAS says addition is first.

Microwave tip, avoid the center. The edges of the rotating plate is where things will warm up the fastest. So either put your food on the edge or put the plate in the center but spread the food out to the edges of the plate.

All microwaves are different and have their own hot/cold spots, but all the ones I've used heat slowly in the center. You can test it yourself by taking a big plate of cheese, remove the rotating plate, and see where it's melted, and usually the center will still be cold while the rest is melted.

Jimmy Carr is similar, even does mainly one liners. And Louis C.K is very dark, but I'm sure you've heard his stuff already.

I don't think anyone is as dark as Jeselnik though.

Wtf, they want me to press him but I got nothing!

Another tip, press everything. Even if you immediately know the answer, press everything because you often get funny dialog. Also if you don't know, pressing will give hints or even give you all new lines added to the testimony. When that happens, that new line is (always?) the line you have to contradict.

I currently make 28 per hour (moving to a new salery position in a few weeks though), and I'm living alone in CT in a condo I bought for 141k. I've only been here for about 6 months, but after settling in and buying furnature, my bank account has been slowly going up month to month.

30 per hour is plenty if your not in those very expensive areas.

7th grade foreign language classroom. Another teacher came in, took our teacher outside for a minute, and she came back and continued as if nothing happened. Throughout the day tons of parents picked their kids up and went home early, but no one would tell us why. By the end of school day all I was able to gather was "a plane hit a building" and I didn't know what the big deal was until I got home.

There are only 2 occasions where I turn the game volume down and watch Youtube videos on my second screen (PC games). First is grinding, like in the Borderlands games when I'm grinding for guns or grinding out characters with 3+ playthroughs each. Or for Switch games I'll take it out of the dock and watch TV while grinding.

Second is games I don't give any fucks about the music. Literally right now I have Slay the Spire on my second screen while I watch Youtube videos and type this. I'll also play Total Warhammer 2 and Civ 6 in with no sound because who cares about the sound for all of those games. Right now those are my 3 games to play when I want to watch long videos.

I'm in the middle of chapter 4 and while the battle system is the low point, I'm still having fun solving the occasional puzzle. But the boss battles are probably my favorite part of the game, I love that battle system. Overall the game is still great.

parabola_master posted...
Im at the part where you find Luigi where the castle used to be. I just hope the battles get more interesting because each one has been stupid so far

You haven't even gotten to chapter 1, so you're still in the tutorial. Later on the battle puzzles are much harder, they don't show you the solution before the puzzle starts, and your regular jump/hammer attacks won't kill anything in 1 hit.

I worked alone at a Dairy Queen, and I had to go in the back to grab something. I couldn't have been back there for more than 15 seconds, but I started walking out front when I heard "HELLO!" and banging on the counter. I stopped right next to the door and stood there for maybe 20 seconds, listening to him yell for me. Then I opened the walk in fridge door next to me, closed it hard, then walked out. He tried to say he was out there for 5 minutes.
