A Silent Hill fan bought the silenthill.com domain and it just has an image saying that Pyramid Head is 9 feet tall, so RE8's vampire MILF isn't the first tall horror villain. Although, I'm sure there's some Japanese horror myths with tall monsters that predate SH itself.

Sony's doing that "top 3 most played games" thing again this year. Mine were Borderlands 3 (1000+ hours?! Didn't feel that long), AC Valhalla, and Stardew Valley again. And with Stardew's big expansion-sized update coming to consoles this month, I imagine it'll make it onto this year's as well.

Little update on West of Loathing. You can use seemingly unlimited items in a single turn, so if you run into a tough enemy, you can throw all the attack items at them that you want. Still unbalanced, if you ask me. The next Loathing game should put a limit on items used per turn and maybe the ability to guard as an enemy hits you, like in Paper Mario.

The main character for the movie is going to be an activist and the movie will focus on themes like diversity and inclusion. Meaning it's going to be ruined by woke BS that cares more about sending a message instead of simply having good writing. It's something I've seen happen multiple times before and all it ever accomplishes is driving away the fanbase and ruining whatever property it's applied to.

The show was already doing diversity and inclusion anyway, with the focus on other species, the student six, and ultimately the uniting of all the races. Whatever potential the movie and G5 had has just been shat on.

You know, with how cats can catch their owner's mental illnesses, I wonder if my brother's cat has gotten my stress and anxiety. She seems to be having a harder time settling down for naps lately. And there's also the fur loss, but again, a vet he took her to said it's likely a fish allergy, so cutting her off from those should fix that. Still find it hard to believe that my brother didn't feed her fish in the 15+ years he's had her, at least not frequent enough to make allergy symptoms show. I mean, fish is one of those obvious foods you'd think of when thinking of what you should feed a cat.

Silent Hill is appearing in another crossover, this time some multiplayer horror game called Dark Deception. Never heard of it, but with it being only multiplayer, it would never have had my interest, anyway. On one hand, I'm disappointed it's not an actual new SH game. On the other, Konami's post-Kojima games have been awful (Contra with guns that overheat, anyone?), so this crossover will still likely be better than whatever modern Konami could make. I mean, if DD's devs are fans, maybe they'll actually give it the love it deserves?

West of Loathing is absolutely fantastic! It's got a great sense of humor, tons of New Vegas-like skill checks, and some really cleverly hidden items that are worth seeking out. However, the combat is a bit unbalanced. I find battles either have me sweep the floor or get curbstomped, mainly where there's a lot of enemies. Also found the ghost mansion DLC to be kinda annoying since there's a lot of puzzles to solve if you want to clear them out peacefully. The temptation I had to just blast that lawyer ghost...

I'm confident in saying that it's something John would have loved.
