Yeah, Id rather see the billionaires get taxed without loopholes like offshore accounts or straight legislation in their favour, but I guess the difference is in whats currently happening, and what they say the reasoning for them (tax increase on us normies) is. Weve had a few tax increases during Covid alone. Early in Trumps term the economy wasnt tanking. Its a fair point that both (or all) parties will raise taxes, I just find that in my experience some will do it more than others and for less valid reasons.

We just had our carbon tax raised again. I dont believe 100% of this is going to fund green research projects.

Hes already out of office and hes just going to get acquitted by the senate again. Theyre not going to get the 2/3rds they need and there really isnt any point in all of it now. Just another example of Democrats wasting our tax money and time instead of sending out more coronavirus relief checks that they already held up to try and make Trump look bad.

I never complained. I just said it was funny that Sunny got one, but not Winter for posts that were clearly more trolly than some of the other ones Ive seen that do get modded. It's not even conversion fees. It's the general account fees that boggles my mind.

It cost me $3 to get money out of an atm when all that required was an algorithm shuffling a few bits? It takes a second for any transaction to come out of my account, but it takes a week for any charge back to drop back in?

Banks are kind of bullshit really.

I want to tell you to take money out of your own bank, to save on those fees (which are higher than youre claiming) but I honestly dont believe that the banks banks dont have ATMs placed in such a way.

To clarify the brackets: The $3.50 is just the fee youre paying the owner of that ATM (which is not your banks ATM your banks ATM wont charge you any fee) to withdraw the cash. Your bank then charges you a fee on top of that, essentially for using an ATM that isnt theirs. The ATM wont tell you this because its not your banks ATM and isnt required to. Youre actually spending $5.00 or more to use an ATM that doesnt belong to your bank.

Well complete moral subjectivity is pretty useless as an idea.

There are some that a lot of people can agree on, but thats still only a lot. Unfortunately it isnt really a majority rules... subject. Morality and legality vary by country, so morals are not universally objective.
