the reality is, is that even the markup on new games isnt even that high. They may make a few dollars, MAYBE $10, on each $60-70 game sold. I know its a large number when added together. But it isnt an insane markup.

same goes for 1st party accessories.

No, I understand your point. And its not a very sound one when people still need to purchase games and accessories and if they were keen on buying their system at their preferred store they will still purchase their other items at said store for whatever reason.

lets be honest here - people buying NEW consoles at launch dont care what retailer they get it from. Also - scalpers arent selling games. So people are still going to have to go to a retailer and buy games and accessories regardless of where they get the system from.

What retailers should do is automatically block any attempt to purchase something if the whole thing is done in x number of seconds or less. This would force bot scripts to fail. There should also be a hard limit that each retailer has where it only allows a particular credit card 1 time and if an order is on file for a PS5 that uses the same credit card, don't allow the sale. This would greatly increase the chances of the items landing in the hands of people and not scalpers.

at the time what is now Nassau county did bear property on current Brooklyn and queens it was empty farm land and not a part of the rezoning.

after the vote the citizens went to Albany to ask for permission to create a new district for representation which is now Nassau county.

Long Island shares land mass with Brooklyn and queens but they are separate jurisdictions.
