| bryans7 12/09/20 9:08:48 AM #18 | I just finished Yakuza 5 recently. I usually try to do everything in Yakuza games up to a point but goddamn, there's so much in this one! Gotta say I really loved I've got a friend really into Insurgency: Sandstorm, so I picked that up recently to play with them. It's been so long since I've played an FPS, especially on PC. I'm just the absolute worst. Still fun though, and I've never played an FPS with such an emphasis on realism before. Usually stuck with more Sci-Fi and Arcade shooters. Mario is one of my favorite series' of all time, and I just picked up a Switch about a month ago with the 3D Mario collection, so I thought I would play through the series, including Lost Levels for the first time. Takes a minute to get use to SMB1 again, but I managed to breeze through 1-3 fairly quickly. (Was SMB2 always that easy?) I forgot how to get Warp Whistles in 3 though so I had to take the long route. But goddamn I was not ready for the Lost Levels difficulty. I was playing on Switch so eventually I just started rewinding to get through it, fucking hell. --- |

Releasing big movies on streaming for now because of the pandemic makes some sense, but I don't think giving up box office revenue forever with no replacement is a viable business strategy. That was my thought too. They're eliminating a major revenue stream and I wonder if streaming will make up for it when you have budgets of $200m or more. --- |
